  • Well we didn't help in Iraq...I see to recall our PM asking to see something called evidence and none was present so we passed on that idea.... and we are one of the leading forces in Afganistan....for some reason I do not understand.....

Don't kid yourself. You're over there...

And since it's obvious that Canadian troops are helping to lead the way in Afghanistan, wouldn't that mean that Canada is helping to aid this war of "greed and lies"?

Well good for them....you know I meant under a parliamentary call for action....and yeah a Liberal government sent us over there...

Im ashamed of it too be honest with you...actually no I was proud when we focused on the re-building aspects of the mission...now we are in the combative role...which I don't agree with...our current Conservative government may fall because of this....the Afganistan mission I could always understand intially in the non-combative role however now I view our efforts as futile as I view those of American soldiers in Iraq.....
  • "According to the Non-Proliferation Treaty of 1968, the world recognizes the right of the U.S., the former Soviet Union (replaced by Russia), China, Britain and France to be nuclear powers. India and Pakistan are also nuclear powers for all intents and purposes, and while the world does not recognize their right to be, it accepts it as a fact. Recently North Korea apparently joined the club."

'Right' to be a nuclear power? Is that like the 'right' to bear arms? I wonder, are all the people in the US who cling so desperately to their right to own firearms 'for defense purposes' the same ones who would prevent North Korea and Iran from having nuclear weapons 'for defense purposes'?

A traitor? To Israel perhaps, to the world, no. He was a hero for disclosing Israel's illegal and potentially apocalyptic nuclear arsenal. Only someone with a fascist mindset would think differently.
You don't think this has anything to do with human rights or democracy? I'd be interested to know how you regard human rights and democracy then. I imagine they must be pretty paltry and disposable concepts in your scheme of things.
There is not an israel post this guy cant avoid. You probably know a thing or two about the fascist mindset. enlighten us.

    Read the part I've highlighted.
Maybe the reason for secrecy was so that the U.S would not be charged with violating the treaty by supplying nuclear materials to Israel?

Your friends the French, not the US, built Dimona, just like they built Osirak in Iraq. The US had no part in Dimona and were against it at the time. Cant you just read a book.....?

Canadians love to criticize the american government.

But when faced with the acknowledgment that their government follows america like a retarted younger brother, they get all antsy.
