If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

Yeah, I bet that's all many will focus on....the guy talks too fast.
But anyways, the points still stand and I was able to keep up.

PLEASE watch this all the way through... goofy as hell but i was in tears at the end
Show off.
But hey, what's one more disappointment from Obama at this point? It won't change anyone's mind. :(
I gotz mad skillz at hearing people talk fast and then knowing what it was they were saying.
Seriously, Obama could pull off a rubber mask and turn out to really be Karl Rove and people still wouldn't care. They'd call him clever for keeping everyone fooled this long.

One of my very best friends who's one of the smartest people I'll ever know is an Obama supporter. I don't think he's stupid...not at all. But I think he's a little brainwashed by the charm and the talk of "change" and all that other nonsense.
no.
I know it was an exaggeration...it was meant to be funny.
You guys wouldn't really support him if he was Karl Rove in disguise!...just if he was appointed as one of Obama's new advisers instead. Because you know, those guys don't dictate policy or anything...they just make the best homemade salsa for the prez!
Lighten up!

I know what you mean. I have a friend who fits your description of your friend. Try to talk to him about anything and I immediately get sarcastic type *pffts* and such other noises of discontent to display how absurd I must be for not believing in Obama.
the only time i get my panties in a bunch is when i feel as though my point of view is disregarded because obama supporters are lumped into a 'sheep category', and apparently we can't think for ourself.
i need to get better at debating, and i need to get over that. because this aint fun anymore.
oh well.
Edit: peak/peek...who cares anyway?
Although you did mention "fun" in another post...and I can tell you this isn't "fun" for me either. But it's VERY important stuff that people DO need to be talking about.
I hate looking at the moving train before bed....it's bound to keep me up for hours as I lay in bed and try to sleep. Is it lay in bed or lie in bed?? Anyway, politics these days is extremely depressing and it's hard to be hopeful but we've gotta do it. That's the only way we can make "change"
i would love to see him up against mccain and nader.
for serious.
i don't understand why any of his supporters wouldn't. if you believe in obama then you should not be afraid? if you are afraid then you are just fooling yourself.
or someones fooling someone.
bring it on i say.

"Barack Obama offered to meet John McCain at five joint appearances between now and Election Day—the three traditional debates plus a joint town hall on the economy in July and an in-depth debate on foreign policy in August. That package of five engagements would have been the most of any Presidential campaign in the modern era—offering a broad range of formats—and representing a historic commitment to openness and transparency.
"It's disappointing that Senator McCain and his campaign decided to decline this proposal. Apparently they would rather contrive a political issue than foster a genuine discussion about the future of our country.
"Senator Obama believes that the American people deserve an open and accessible debate as they choose between real change and four more years of failed Bush policies, and he welcomed McCain's invitation to offer voters 'the rare opportunity of witnessing candidates for the highest office in the land discuss civilly and extensively the great issues at stake in the election,'" said Obama campaign manager David Plouffe.
Wait its just more Obama lies....
