    Ok. I get it.

Let me see if I have the official left-wing position down:

Iran, Iraq, Al Qaeda, North Korea, the Taliban, etc etc ... we're supposed to try to sit down at a table and negotiate with.

But Bush, we want to rip out his jugular.

    OK, got it.

correct...why do you think we vote to have a new president every 4 years...stops the bloodshed within

    the answer is sales tax.

the more you spend...the more taxes you pay.

if someone buys an 800 dollar HP Laptop they pay a considerable lower ratio of taxes to the dollar than someone who buys a 2200 dollar HP Laptop

I actually haven't thought much about this, but I do have a serious question about the sales tax plan:

It's probably all well and good while the economy is good and consumers are consuming. But wouldn't it be doubly devastating when the economy goes south? Not only would consumers not consume, it would deprive the government of funds to help folks out.

off topic bbut i saw a cop here in the orlando area today riding up a major road taking down ron paul signs.... at the next intersection there are no signs of any other candidates.... so i was ok with it...thats cool they dont allow any advertisement here...than i looked up and saw a gigantic Republican Radio Station... thought this was funny since ron paul is about as far away from a republican while running as a republican you can get...and you know that talk shows got nothing about him :)

and there was a huge rudy sign across the street

It's freaky man...the media has fucked up some peoples heads really good.

It's a phenomenon...it's simian in nature....give em a club make em hairer, go back 1 million years and voila...perfect match...hehe

I don't know what it 's going to take. (I do, actually). The media is the water and peoples heads are like sponges. Some sponges hold more water and can't be wrung out to dry as easily on command if you know what I mean ;)

ive thought about this too...but i think the result of this being the way we gather taxes will result in more fair competition...lower class and middle class citizens in a balanced economy will do what they have always done...look for value.. while the rich who in this country are rich will continue to spend ridiculous amounts of money for things they dont really need....and if they stop doing this....than those products wont exist.... and fidel castro will become increasingly suspicious why an economy is on the rise and people all make different wages.
  • No he doesn't need help. You are terribly disrespectful, and it is obvious that you are an angry, hate-filled person who would be miserably with a great president or bad president. I am sorry you are so angry and immature.

If you think it is obvious that I am hate filled person based on me saying, "FUCK YOU"... then you are truly stupid. The fact that you can't see why I'd be so irreverent when speaking about our President or anyone who supports him makes you a bit of a tool.

So, to sum it up... fuck you.

    No.

We don't need to "negotiate" with these countries. We need to stop bombing them. We are breeding terrorism by killing countless innocent civilians, or creating collateral damage as we call it...

You see, invading these countries isn't good for you and me... because we pay for it, with our tax dollars, and the lives of our children... but those who benefit are the already powerful and wealthy wage war for no other reason that to advance imperialism and control regions with valuable resources... thus controlling the resources.

As for Bush... He has committed for more horrendous crimes than Saddam Hussein ever did. What is worse, is that he would never admit it. At least Saddam never pretended to be a saint... He should be hanging right now too... Furthermore, blood is on the hands of the entire congress... there are few whom are innocent now. They all should be removed from office, that is for certain.

Before I die, the people will incite such revolutionary ideas... No longer will wealthy people dictate... anything.

It is a problem because there are programs that need more funding. The tax cuts are going to the wealthy, and the money that we as middle class Americans are getting back DOES NOT work, as far as stimulating the economy goes. It has proven not to work by the last 7 years of Bush's presidency... The economy has gotten progressively worse because of such policies... and by the economy, I mean you and me being able to afford to live.

Would you call 80,690 dead Iraqi civilians compassionate?

Lol. Stupid AND no sense of humor...

    A. Saying Iran funds militia groups against our troops is like saying The United States promotes pedophilia because there are pedophiles in the country.

    B. The Palestinians are NOT terrorists! They are fighting for land THAT BELONGS TO THEM! Land that was progressively taken away from them over time after the Nazi's invaded and a bunch of Fundi Christians decided that the Jews needed to go back to their "promised land".

    C. You, or anyone else has NO proof about their nuke program. The president of Iran has no such power, and although he has made wild claims, he can NOT wage war OR authorize the creation of nuclear weapons. He doesn't have the same power our president does.

If we want other countries to end their nuclear programs, maybe we should first.

    D. The people are in a fight for a democracy of their own, and have a great chance in winning. If we bomb them into a third world country status, the only people with any power will be the corrupt militia men you speak of. (This is what happened in Afghanistan)...

George Bush doesn't respect anybody who can't afford his tastes. If you believe otherwise, you truly are a fool. The "dictators at the top" are old hat, and are slowly being whittled away by the youth of the country who are rebelling and demanding better. The U.S. BLOWING THE SHIT OUT OF THEM IS NOT THE ANSWER!

Clever, but I think you will find I am a fountain of knowledge... You shouldn't assume I am lacking in education just because my views don't affirm yours. That is true stupidity.

you lost all creditability with the first post in this thread. if you wanted to come across as someone who is intelligent, you could have gone about it many different ways. you failed miserably.

You've gone off the deep end. I'm no fan of our current administration, and didn't vote for them, but you have a very warped perspective. And good luck with that revolution. Instead of hating the wealthy for their success, maybe you should set yourself some new goals.

No, I just wanted to state my feelings... and I did. Honestly.

So using the word fuck, or expressing emotion indicates that someone is stupid? How about you attack the argument and not the person making it...

I believe that is called Ad Hominem? Look it up.

I will state my feelings one last time...

Explain to me where my logic is flawed.

*Notice that I didn't say ALL wealthy people. I merely pointed out that those who are making decisions for the rest of us are in fact wealthy, and have the advancement of power in their best interests.

So, my "revolution" is not one based in hatred for "the wealthy"... It is a revolution based on the love for my people, in the faith that we can work together to overcome oppression as a whole.

No man should be oppressed by another... The last right that needs to be written into our constitution...

So, you can label such a revolution however you want, but the truth still remains... The only way for man to truly be free and prosperous is if we work together as a global community...

That will never happen until the wealthy (who actively seek to ensure they keep absolute control) are over powered. I know that sounds radical, but it is nevertheless true. We must resort to every possible approach to overthrow the current forms of power on this planet, and rebuild a sustainable community based society...

Idealistic? Only to a fool who thinks we can fix the problem with the thinking that created it.

What's to argue? All you do is spout crackpot opinions. How do I argue with that?

If I was 100 percent convinced that the moon was made of swiss cheese and Osama bin Laden is actually hiding on the set of the O.C., would you try to convince me otherwise?

I'd much rather pat you on the head and congratulate you for learning how to work a computer. It was obviously a significant accomplishment for you. Maybe you can teach the other special kids at the "home."

    A. Okay, that was fucking hilarious. I LMFAO... Kudos.

    B. Although my opening statements had no arguments, I later stated them after being questioned as to what I disliked about the speech.

As of yet, those arguments lie unchallenged.

Your argument is basically that Bush is the anti-Christ and needs his throat slit. I'm guessing anything I say in opposition (like he's not the anti-Christ and deserves to live) isn't going to sway you.
