    I made the assumption that you are not an activist because you seem to have the bleak feeling that you are surrounded by people who are alien to you... whereas, if you were active, you'd realize there are plenty of people who take part in the popular movement...

    So, I implore you, take action in your local community. If there are no groups to join, start one yourself!

    My offer still stands btw... and thank you for giving me the idea to post it as a thread.
