I used to be able to get away with $40-$50 AU but grocery prices have jumped recently so it more like $60-$80. Sucks because I'm not buying anything more, just the cost has gone up.2003 Bris 8 &9, Syd 11 &13, Melb 18, 19 &20

Luckily UGA has a "collegiate readership" program so I can get the University newspaper, a USA Today, and a New York Times everyday for free. All the rusted signs, we ignore throughout our lives, choosing the shiny ones instead...

No. That would be too scratchy. Plus it might leave ink on my butt.0 -

I live with my gf and my 2 years old daughter. We spend about 100-150 € per week.
It varies from a week to another though. Depending on where we buy stuff, sometimes we spend 75-100 € for a week, sometimes, it 's more around 150 €.2006: Antwerp, Paris

probably the majority of my expenditures ... eating out as well as buying mostly local/organic at the grocery stores ... plus, i'll have people over for dinner a bit and that adds to it ...
so ... $200+ a week is normal which includes eating out a bit ...0 -
I probably spend a little over $100 per week on myself. I eat a ton of fruits and veggies and buy as much organic as possible. I don't think its possible to feed a family of 4 healthy food for $150. Eating healthy is expensive!0

My Wife and I used to spend a ton on money on food when we lived in an apartment.
But since we've moved into our house, we've cut our food expences drastically.
We've got a good sized backyard with several fruit trees. Apples, Pears, Cherry.
This summer we had an amazing vegetable and herb garden. As well as a couple of chickens.
Saving on Veggies, Eggs, and Fruit have really helped us save some cash.

we average about $130 per week for a family of four. Sometimes more but rarely less.0
