I thought I'd do a poll for people to just say whether they are married, single, co-habiting or whatever. But I can't seem to find out how to make one.

Anyway, if people will just shortly state whether they are married, single, divorced, co-habiting, widows or whatever, I may do a manual count if the response is good. Think of this as a learning opportunity.

I go first. I am co-habiting with my girlfriend on the third year. We have no intention to get married anytime soon, and if we did, it'd probably be for tax-purposes further down the road.

Peace
Dan

Married 17 years, co-habited 8 months before getting married (civil wedding) but committed from day one because I had to move country! Whirlwind romance...

and if you wanted to take the survey further, i have no desire to ever marry and would cohabitate if the apartment had at least 2 bedrooms. ;)

    Just have to comment.

Redrock, you moved countries for your love? Wow. But I guess immigration and so on becomes a lot easier with a certificate. :)

And HailHail, you getting married soon? Got that impression. Congratulations on that. Hope it all turns out happily ever after. Love the playlist, of course :)

Single and dating. I do not believe in co-habitating or sex before marriage.

The smell of shit in Kansas isn;t Mr. Huggins (arguably the greatest coach ever)...it is derived from the play of the Jayhawks.

You can't spell OVERRATED without Kansas, Jayhawks, & Bill Self. ;)

Oh, married for 7 years, together 13...lived together 9 years I think.

I think the poll option is gone.

    Married for 21 years .

Happily I might add. We did not live together beforehand--dated 2-3 years. Have 2 teenage sons.

And I might add...I don't "work" at my marriage. I always hear people--celebrities mostly...say it is SUCH hard work. I don't even think about it. Maybe I am lucky.

After post number 26, here is a quick outline.

    14 answers.

6 are married, of which 4 reported co-habiting beforehand
    2 are currently cohabiting
    3 are engaged/in a relationship 1 is cohabiting, 2 didn't say
3 are single, whereof 1 on them is divorced.

So so far, of 14 people polled, 7 are or have been cohabiting without being married.

Keep answering folks, so we get a more accurate picture.

    Peace
    Dan
