I'm suspicious when people get sued to prove something simple, and then they fail to do it.

    The question still stands,
why did Obama's legal team decide not to comply with the discovery process?
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

You are dealing with a religion here. Obama is Jesus to the majority of liberals. You are not going to convince many folks on this board that there may be a crack in Obama's armor.

That remains to be seen I guess. I do agree with your question though, and still think it's much ado about nothing. I'm ready to be proved wrong though! :)

Jesus? I thought he was the anti-christ, make up your mind
I love how you seem to be the authority on how obama supporters feel. Why don't you spend some time educating yourself and looking back through posts, and you will see many examples of obama supporters, (myself included) explaining the reasons why they support him and what policies they may not be happy with. i don't think i've ever seen anyone on here say that they agree with everything their candidate stands for.

if anyone here seriously thinks either of these jokers is "their" candidate ...

I think because he's not your candidate, you're unfairly dismissing him as other people's candidate. Just my opinion.

If some quack decided to sue McCain to prove he was born on American soil, I wouldn't expect him to respond either.

Do you conspiracy nuts actually think Obama went back in time and planted birth announcements in the Honolulu news papers in the 60's? From what powers you people seem to believe Obama has, he could produce perfect fake documents if he wanted to. So what's the point in responding? You'll say he forged them somehow or come up with some new nutjob conspiracy.

    Time for more drama.
Too bad the Supreme Court is the most supremely bought and sold court.
We'll see what's left of American Justice.
Anyone with the odds on the Court taking this appeal?

    This should be great,
given that the appeal case would be based upon the judges dismissal ... which means Berg probably (at least, on constitutional principle) has a shot at winning.

Looks like Berg is outraged for the same reason I am.
    Constitutional principle.

from an interview with philip berg, the man who brought the lawsuit

(Q)I've written a lot over the past few months about race and politics, and back in February and March warned of the potential for Barack Obama and his supporters to counter substance with charges of racism and cries of racial intolerance. What do you say to those people who inevitably will, perhaps looking at the underlying African story, call you a racist?

(PB)Of course some people might look at me and assume I’m doing this because he’s black. I’m not. I’m Jewish, and I’m a life-long member of the NAACP, so people will be hard-pressed to confront me on any of those issues.

Oh I get it, only Republicans have talking points, and only Dems can complain. Woops, my bad.
