My only worry is if he does make it, someone will attempt to assassinate him because he refuses to play the game.0

This is great.
There must be a media coup going on.
ABC did a PIECE ON RON PAUL ... it may be as good as it gets.
Besides the "consistently in the back of the pack" ... the piece was upbeat and complimentary.
I'm shocked and awed.If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?0 -
Although it is not likely an attainable goal for Ron Paul, or anyone for that matter, check it out http://www.pledgebank.com/Pauls-100millNo need to be void, or save up on life

My biggest concern, as Paul stated, is that we may be running out of time. With primaries being moved up earlier and earlier we may not have the time needed to win the nomination. The more time he has to get his message out the more people will realize that he is the best candidate out there."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

I think the GOP will be plenty shocked at the polls.
If Ron is anywhere near or above the 5% on these recent national polls, that is golden.
Why?
Because average voter turnout for primaries is about 10%
Many states run around 7%, and a bunch more around 12-17%
Only a few, like california run at high numbers (like 42%)
If only 10% of the population shows up,
and ron paul supporters are, lets say 7% of the population (optimistic)
if 90% of RP supporters show up, that is HALF OF THE VOTE, EASY!
I think you will see that at LEAST 80% of the RP supporters actually go out & vote, if not substantialy more.
Its gonna be AWESOME.If I was to smile and I held out my hand

From Wikipedia:
Paul has participated in six Republican presidential debates, five of which he won according to the sponsors' own online or text-message phone polls. After the first debate, ABC News noted Paul's robust online presence: "His supporters have mastered the art of 'viral marketing,' using Internet savvy and blog postings to create at least the perception of momentum for his long-shot presidential bid." U.S. News reported his increasing online popularity: "His supporters have flocked to the Internet with such enthusiasm that Paul is now showing up among the much richer candidates in various measures of Internet traffic". USA Today calls Paul an "online natural", citing as one reason, "Libertarians love the web."
Paul's Internet presence has been measured by his ranking as a top Internet search term by Technorati, Hitwise, and Alexa, which compare popularity in the blogosphere. While some claim a small number of supporters intentionally inflate Paul's rankings and skew the statistics, Technorati spokesman Aaron Krane affirms his company's position that Paul's search popularity is genuine to the best of their knowledge. Paul claims the most YouTube views of all presidential candidates, over 4.4 million, and the most subscriptions of all candidates, having surpassed Barack Obama on May 20, 2007. Paul's YouTube channel is among the Top 40 most subscribed of all time, achieving 32,000 subscribers in October 2007.If I was to smile and I held out my hand

in this election; i hope you're right. i'm not opposed to a woman or black president; but our options in this election are not qualified. they say the right words people want to hear but those people don't look behind the curtain. for example; hillary will talk against big business yet big business finances her. so here's how the conspiracy works:
you finance me and i'll talk trash about you to get into power; once i have the power we can be bed partners because i can't be un-elected.
that's how we; as hippies; infiltrated the government.
on the other hand; if obama becomes president; he should say: look; a black man can become president; so affirmative action is truely discrimination against whites.
what are the chances of that happening?0 -

I had an interesting experience over the weekend... My wife and I went to the Maine shore (from Albany, NY) over the weekend, and driving back through rural Maine, New Hampshire & Vermont, I was amazed at all of the Ron Paul signs that I saw... From the professional looking lawn signs and banners, to the homemade banners and even just spray painted signs, I saw more things with Ron Paul's name on then every other candidate combined... it was actually very refreshing that a grassroots type of candidacy can become so popular. My whole life
was like a picture

now if the mainstream media can give him some respect, he will have a very good shot at the primaries or more0 -
So I've spent a good portion of the evening geeking out on Ron Paul youtube vids....
I started with the debates from last night....here are his comments from the debates:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKzteUs_vto
Then I watched this clip about Fox's take on their own text polls:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytFVc8JIUrs
THen I watched his interview from after the debates:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swgD6XLlyvQ
So after watching those last two clips, I am starting to get really annoyed by how BRUTAL the fox news coverage is (I don't get fox news so I'm not used to this fucking circus)...
Now, it's obvious that mainstream media wouldn't support a guy like Paul...but watching this made me fucking sick:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VY-KlYg9UME
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ht1bo5UhOs
Does anyone actually take Fox news seriously? I mean sure, all corp news stations are crooked and have agendas...but fuck...the study group that that Frank Luntz used to disprove the text polls?...how does anyone take this stuff seriously?
I mean...the polls don't mean much, really...but is fox even bothering to explain how it is that Ron Paul's supporters are the only ones that are smart enough to figure out a way around only being able to vote once? How are they stacking the vote? Why can't fox explain that? They just keep saying it....why aren't the other candidates supporters doing it too?
So....do you have to be American to donate to your politicians?Hell, I'll send one of you money to donate for me
