    Love it :)
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

    The President Who Cried Wolf.

    That brilliant. Thanks Keith.:)
  • Thanks for sharing...I really enjoy listening to this man....thanks again....the drunken fighter part is GREAT!
  • Olbermann is truly brilliant. I like how he gets people so pissed, they make idiots out of themselves. Like Geraldo saying he "wants to beat up Olbermann, that midget. I'd make a pizza out of him" Olbermann is 7 inches taller than geraldo
  • Look, you guys. I am as opposed to the neo-cons and this war as anyone.

With that said, Olbermann is an out and out cunt! He's a little whiney bitch and he's no better than any of the Fox news jackasses.

We've beaten the shit out of the Iraqis. 3000 Americans have died, but tens of thousands of Iraqi insurgents and combatants died. To say that we've been beaten in Iraq like Olbermann's barfight analogy is out and out pansy ass shit. I want to know what the hell he's ever done to sit there and tell our armed forces that they've been beaten "by one punch." They haven't! The simple fact is, the Iraqis are beating themselves and there's no amount of U.S. forces that can change that.

The most Olbermann has ever done is sit there with his pansy ass terribly rated show and spout off his snide, sniveling garbage. He has no in-depth understanding of how the war has gone and it showed in his analysis.

The simple fact is, he hates Bush's guts and that causes him to say ridiculous hyperboles on his shitty show which nobody watches. If he just kept to the facts and made an objective analysis, we would all be better off.

Actually, his ratings are getting higher. I guess someone's watching.

He's still one of the lowest rated cable news commentators.

No one cares what he thinks because he doesn't belong in that seat. He fell into it somehow and no one has told him to get out.

That's the best you could do, ratings?

ratings are actually irrelevent to that video. so because he fell into that seat his opinions should not be aired? or he's a blowhard? i can think of plenty of people i can say that about.

i think you are upset because he is right, but thats just my opinion.

bush has disgraced the office of the president with all the lies and bullshit and diversions from the issues that matter and is now threatening syria and iran before taking care of the situation in iraq. this video is keith calling him out on it. if you disagree with him thats your right to your opinion.

  • There is some big differences between Olbermann and the fox guys. Namely, intelligence and the backing of commentary w/ fact rather than the disregard of "fact".

Yeah, whatever. "Fact" coming from a guy used to do sports commentary for years before he got this job. Wow. That makes him SO much more intelligent and correct than oh...I dunno...anyone on Fox.

  • This whole thread just goes to show that all of you liberals don't really care about "fact" in your reporting...you just wanna hear someone like Olbermann spew the opposite rhetoric of what you hear on Fox. If any of you were truly open minded, you admit that Olbermann is as big of a tool as O'Reilly or Hannity. Olbemann makes his coin just like O'Reilly does...by catering to your whims, albeit from the left.

CorporateWhore is the only one is this thread with any sense or truth in his words.

Olbermann is good for a laugh. Some of the shit he says is damn funny, but as far as unbaised commenting you are right he is no better than O'Reilly and Hannity.

I thought you would probably agree. And to be fair, the same holds true for some people on the right with O'Reilly, etc.

Take Olbermann out of it, take the smug presentation out of it, take the opinion out of it...everything that remains should be enough for anyone to begin to formulate the same contemptuous opinions about what has been fed to us for the last 6 years.

Brilliant? He is funny, he is sarcastic, but he's no Southpark. He's a fucking tool.

What did O'Reilly did before the factor? Inside Edition. He was a gossip hag. That makes him qualified?

    That's your example of brilliance?
  • That's your example of brilliance?

Honestly, yes. More so than Keith. I put that in there to just see if anyone gets it. Southpark actually can take subject matter and just about the time you think you get the message they are trying to convey, they spin around and provide the other side. Typically they get you to see the insanity of the different parties that are proposing their side of an issue. And that is how I pretty much see most political talk these days. Not just the talk, but the actual parties representing different beliefs and issues. Everyone is so preconcieved in their ideas of the right answer that they don't listen, they just talk.

He is clearly already made up his mind on every possible subject matter, which is why he is probably worse or as bad as FOX. He is totally Bill Oreily or Sean Hannity. Sure, it is easy to like him if you agree with him, or find him to make a couple of good points here and there, or just find him entertaining. But he is such a tool.

So, yeah Southpark can be brilliant and Keith is a tool. And he hates Bush. Wow, what a contribution he is making.

  • Fair enough. just curious, do you watch his show?
  • Fair enough. just curious, do you watch his show?

Yes, usually him and Scarborough and Mathews back to back, if I am watching TV. And I rarely watch Southpark, but they are unbiased for sure cause they make fun of everyone.

Edit: I keep hearing that MSNBC does so badly in ratings, but to be honest I find them much more interesting to watch than CNN or FOX. Anyone else agree with that?

I do enjoy my Pat Buchanan commentary. MSNBC ain't bad at all: in fact, with the exception of Olbermann, I think it's better than Foxnews.

  • I very much agree with that. I love the whole NBC/MSNBC team. I usually TiVo the late night repeats, and put them on in the morning.

Olbermann is my favorite. I can see where people think he's a Democratic version of hannity or O'reilly. The difference is he will go after the Dems. You'll almost never hear a Fox guy (Condi's guys, she loves all of them) rip a Rep. I also think he is the smartest (or at least his show) of the pundits. Most guys just give you the talking points, and say if you don't agree with them you're an idiot. Keith goes into history

Scarborough continues to grow on me. I've been watching him for a few years now. I think it's hilarious that O'Reilly keeps up with his "no conservatives at NBC" thing, despite Joe continually pointing out his presence

I like hardball. i also like when they bring in the NBC guys, Tim Russert especially. Throw in Brian williams, Tom Brokaw, David Gregory, etc...

this is a good website for ratings for the cable news channels

    http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/

It shows Condi's guys still have a pretty healthy lead over the competition. Not sure what to make of that. I guess some Republicans are diehard. Like my dad, who doesn't believe in global warming. or my brother in law, who thinks we should invade any country that has a terrorist in it. When asked how he would feel if his 4 year old son was drafted in 15 years tro fight this ongoing war, he's okay with that.
