Will Iraq ever take the damn baton?

This kind of opinions upset me quite alot. US should stay for the next ten years or so until the situation in Iraq has stabilized. Did you know that about 50-100 ppl die from terrorist acts in Iraq everyday? You guys are complaining about 3000 dead soldiers while some say that the civilian casualty toll is about 500 000... SCREW YOU! I mean it. FUCK YOU! You owe the Iraqis all and everything. They never asked you to come over the ocean and bring them chaos and misery did they? NO it's because of stupid americans who watch Fox News and the likes of it, don't know jack about muslims and the middle east. There was never a link between Saddam and Al Qaida. Quite the opposite, Saddam was afraid of religion and the part it played in everyday-life in some of the countries in the Middle East. What YOU did, was starting a war because you were scared and ignorant. You let CIA, the government and the military execute an act called the Military-Industrial Complex, which I hope you've heard of before. Please, think before you post!0

You all hate Starbucks on every corner, but if these people knew that if they stood up for themselves and their neighbors that one of their descendants' main worries would be having too many Starbucks and McDonalds, they may just get their act together. (That sentence probably did not have correct grammar)
I think the sign that you hate America is when you cringe at the thought of making Iraq more like us (you know, the ones who can go to the supermarket and not get their arm blown off).0 -

There is is kiddies... the basic flaw in the entire U.S. Foriegn Relations. The simple assumption that everyone else either wants to be like us... or that if they were like us, all of their problems would disappear.
Maybe if we helped Iraqis build their own country in the manner in which THEY choose whose blueprints to follow, we wouldn't be getting all tangled up in their bullshit.
What if Iraqis want a Fundamentalist Theocracy that follows Shria Law? Should we force them into a society that fits our wants... or theirs?Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!
