I love how you claim to know so much about americans, being a canadian. have ever even been to america? and I love how you know how we feel? there is plenty of public voice here.
a societal barometer? nice try. one crazy chick with ketchup on her hands and you think some american "system" isnt working.
come visit us sometime. but that would require a passport. you know what that is right?
I've been to every state but a few.
The system is not well, the level of discontent is high, don't kid yourself the sentiment is global.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.
Of course I know why she was there. But I am an anti-war guy, so with regards to me, she is preaching to the choir.
Do you honestly think she is going to persuade anyone because of her behavior? If someone thinks Rice is a war criminal, they will continue to think that. If someone doesnt she is a war criminal, they are not going to now think she is, because a lady got in her face. I think that this method of protesting is at best a fruitless endeavor, at worse, actually hurts her cause.
She's not trying to persuade anyone of anything. She is making a stand and her courage is remarkable.
Hurts her cause? I doubt that. She is inspiring to a whole new generation of protesters!
Well, it obviously depends on your point of view.... If you favor civil, peaceful protests, than yes the people outside the White House will get the job done.... However, if you're into menacing, stalking or dangerous protests than you're right---she was justified in her actions. In addition, you're right, she has a right to "protest", just not in that matter.... Hopefully, she was arrested and detained..... Could've been potentially very dangerous for Condi, those type of things can't be allowed to happen in this day and age---to dangerous.
Depends of your view alright...and your view seems to be that of a freedom hating dictator. Be a corporate/government stooge if you want, I prefer freedom and admire people with the strength to stand up to pigs like rice.
I would never do that to Condalezza Rice... she looks scary... like Satan's minion scary... put on a hat, and a vest and give her some bat wings and she's working for the Wicked Witch of The West... if you ask me.

Hail, Hail!!!

Cheney has her beat as a Sith lord....close call though. Condi takes pretty good care of her body.
You know Bush and Condi very well could have gotten busy with wanton monkey love on some of those lonely late night meetings.... So many of those meetings...day after day...heated issue after heated passionate issue.... One little flirt becomes undeniable after a few days. It builds and becomes unbearable.
A little upswing in perfume selection and Bush is struggling with some serious zipper tension.
Those long sobering weeks away and close proximity on passionate world issues can do things to people...lol

As an American I get the jist of what Roland was saying. Sometimes it takes being driven to an extreme measure to wake up the complacency that has overtaken this country. I hope to hell it scared the shit out of her and I only hope it scares a few others in this administration as how destructive this administration has been.
I've participated in over 15 peaceful protest marches here in DC and I many times wonder if we're making a difference. If this method of protesting raises a few eyebrows or causes others to voice their opinions on America's involvement in the Middle East then ALL for for actions like what happened here.

See this is exactly where debate and discussion gets buried by pure vitriol... Your response to my post is the written equivalent to that "womans" action towards Secretary Rice... I just believe you lose all credibility when you regress to the point where you're lobbing foundless accusations and nasty characterizations during the course of a "discussion."... I'm not a freedom hating dictator, I just expect adults to conduct themselves in an adult manner---Clearly, I'm going out on a serious limb with those expectations in regards to this woman....
No one on this planet pisses me off more than her...not even W.
I wish that woman had gotten to slap Condi across the face.
I also would like to know why the cops were using such force with the woman they were dragging out in the hot pink shirt. She was different, yes?
pigs....
What if Condi was white, would you hate her as much? I believe her being black leads a lot to her being disliked. Liberals don't like black Republicans.

What's up with the other women being man-handled and hauled out of there? Maybe they did something inappropriate? It appears the one in pink was just sitting there. Fucking cops anyway.
As for Condi.....she's a cunt. Always has been and always will be.

You knew her when she was 15 years old? 25 years old? 40 years old? That's a foolish comment.

Are you serious with this question?
You believe??? And you are?
lol...some people never cease to amaze.
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away
