    Spanish is becoming an increasingly relevant language these days. the US is one of the only countries in the world whose students do not study more than 1 language. I went to Egypt and the kids there are forced to learn Arabic, English, AND either French or German in their schools from a young age.

    Languages are important, and I think it's a good idea to have kids learning another language in school.

    Does he speak Spanish? He shouldn't tell me what my kids should learn either.

    Look it up where his next campaign stop is, along with McCain. Both are going to the racist La Raza to beg for the vote.

    Both of them make me sick.

    i don't speak Spanish. Its probably a little to late for me. i would love for my kids to learn. i hope they do. It only makes sense. If your kids have the ability to learn to speak Spanish, and you don't encourage them to due to naivete and racial prejudice, so be it. But its a dumb move.

    Yep...it will only help them in the future. Learning another language gives you another tool in your skill set. Making your life easier as well as opening up many more doors.

    I don't support politicians deliberately misleading groups of voters in order to get votes and then once in office, abandons those promises. Do you? It's okay to lie and misrepresent yourself in order to gain power? Really??     All they have to do on the campaign trail is be honest about themselves. They don't have to stay home for that.
