    It's really funny how possible it would be to substitute Michael Moore or Al Franken for Ann Coulter in three pages of posts and they all still hold true (with different quotes of course).

    Overall, baraka and farfromglorified have made the most sense here. If people would stop paying attention to this kind of crap, it would all just go away.

    I've heard Franken use similar language about those who dare to disagree with him. It's all okay now though because he's running for Senate. At least he's nobody important to the left.

    As far as CPAC, she wouldn't have a seat at the table there if people from the left didn't get so worked up at her existence.

    as for coulter...who buys her books...? who puts her on television...?

    I don't care for Moore or Franken, myself. But I would love to see someone put up some quotes or a video showing either of them saying things along the same lines Coulter uses.

    Moore makes good points but blows by using the same tactics he hates. Franken is just plain annoying. :D

    It's their way of justifying their parties support for her by acting like she's the same as people on the left when she's clearly not the same.

    I just laugh everytime I see her. I've never gotten worked up by anything she's spewed. It's usually some mind numbing rant that makes herself look even crazier than she did before.

    Ann Coulter told me this joke,...

    A monkey is sitting in a tree smoking a joint when a lizard walks past and

    Granted, it's just as much of a joke as Coulter but advocating violence against those who disagree is actually just as bad as Coulter saying what she said in the cadence of a comedian. They are the same type of personality. If people just wouldn't pay attention they would probably just go away. Unless Franken somehow wins a US Senate seat. Then we're all fucked.

    I don't know Ann Coulter. I don't think she actually thinks John Edwards is gay. I will agree she is plain nuts. I also would assert that the Democrat running for US Senate in Minnesota is plain nuts. Coulter's remark was meant to be comedic. If you listen to her saying things about each Democrat running for President, it would fit right into an ill advised rant. You cannot excuse one's behavior while picking out the same sort of behavior from another and saying it is wrong. As one on the right, I will not bring up the obvious sexism this is showing since all on this thread are excusing the behavior of a white male while deriding that of a female though. That would just not be my style. ;)

    I believe that Coulter's crap is the same as that skit. They were both ridiculously bad attempts at humor. One was by an annoying television personality. The other was by a major party candidate for US Senate.
