Anyone who has any respect for the law of the land should be sickened by this decision. Whether or not you feel like O.J. is getting what he deserves, the fact is he got railroaded. I hate the idea that I could be put in jail for life for trying to get my shit back from some shady dealers. Pretty fucking scary!!!

And he was found innocent in his trial. Do you realize how many people have been wrongly convicted of crimes they didn't commit? Those people are still in jail, or worse, put to death!

The fact is he was railroaded because of his previous case. If it was anyone else, they would have gotten a slap on the wrist. This world is pretty fucked up. I just don 't feel that two wrongs make a right. The justice system may have failed the first time, and it def failed again.

yeah , if I had the money i'd buy the american justice system too. Apparently he spent all his cash on the whole murder charge. now he has to go though the system like everyone else.

That's a valid point. But it doesn't do anything to ease my nerves about the fact that I could be put away for trying to get my stuff back. In fact it worsens them. I'm not super rich.

At least he had the sense to use a gun this time. I guess he learned that the old slice and dice method leaves behind too much evidence, such as blood-soeaked gloves.

true. But if he is resorting to violence to get his useless possessions back than he is the one with the problem, not them.

yeah its his, it means a lot to him, but threatening violence to get it back....fuck it, get him out of here.

This is not true. He was found to be not guilty, which does not prove innocence. It simply means that he was not proven to be guilty beyond the shadow of a doubt. He was found to be liable for the deaths in the civil suit.

  • Why is everyone so bitter about OJ? Did he kill your mutha? Woo! let's party. Do we get our OJ prize now?

Sorry, but you all are foolishy ridiculous and sound pretty dumb. I suppose you were on the jury or perhaps you dedicated nine-months glued to court tv and really know what happened the first time. Just hope you never find yourself on the wrong end of criminal indictment or overzealous prosecutors.

Perhaps someday they will add innocent to guilty and non guilty as far as verdicts go. Otherwise I would say that he was not-guilty/innocent. He did about as good as you could do.

But until then, let us celebrate the demise of another human being. Feel better about yourself?

He was guilty of murder and didn't have to serve jail time. Should people not care whether or not murderers are out on the streets?

    A) He was found not guilty...NOT INNOCENT. Not Guilty means there wasn't enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he murdered Nicole and Ron. We all know he's guilty as sin.

    B) So you are saying...if you stole something of mine its ok for me to round up my buddies, grab some guns, kidnap you, and threaten to kill you unless you give it back to me?? You are ok with that??

Why the hell didn't he go to the cops or sue them??? If he had walked on this it would have sent the WRONG message to people...saying Vigilante justice is ok...which is IS NOT.

From what I remeber hearing, and plese someone correct me if I am wrong. This memorabilia was the things he had to sell to settle his civil suit case. So I do not think the stuff was stolen from him just probably bought at a really low price.

maybe its time to bring vigilantism back. Not so rich celebrities can get their useless memorabilia back but so we can bring the real criminals to justice. rumslfeld, cheney, bush, the real criminals.

pretty much. Fuck O.J., he should have stayed underground.

his arrogance wouldn't allow him to stay out of the spotlight.

he got what he deserved, period.

If he isn't guilty, then he's innocent. And how the fuck do you know he's guilty? Were you there? The West Memphis #3 are a product of our justice system and so is O.J. It's like me coming on here and saying they are guilty and they are getting what they deserve. It would only be an opinion. You don't know shit for sure. But as far as the justice system is concerned, this case is fucked. 9 counts??? Kidnapping???! Have you even followed this case?
  • brandon10 wrote:

Wrong. He was simply not found to be guilty. He was not proven to be innocent and again, in the civil suit, he was found to be responsible for their deaths. What about this do you not understand?

Not Guilty. LOL Whatever you want to call it. If that makes you feel better. Can you tell me about anyone that has been found innocent in a court of law?

If you try not to let your emotions get in the way, you may realize how fucked this case is. See, I don't give a shit about OJ one way or another. So this case really scares me.

I have to agree with you there. This case is living proof that personal prejudice can play a big role in whether or not a man gets to spend the rest of his life in prison. Scary is definitely the word.

There are plenty of examples of people being proven innocent by DNA etc. O.J was never proven innocent, he just wasn't proven guilty according to the jury, although I would argue that the DNA evidence against him was more than enough. How any intelligent person could have witnessed O.J's behaviour SINCE and be in any doubt as to his guilt is beyond me.

Also, stop skirting the fact that in the civil suit, he WAS found guilty.

I never once said proven. Those are your words. I don't give a shit if he is guilty of murder or not. It doesn't pertain to this case. You see, I continue to talk about our laws and how they work. But continue to let your emotions get in the way. It really makes you look smart.
