1) That there hasn't been a new poster in the goods section in quite some time, and
2) That no one is really complaining about it (including me, I got my 6-month car insurance payment due...my checking account can use the break)
Just had to post something poster-related...jonesing.
Can't wait to get home today to check out my Emek Melvins print that came yesterday when I was too busy to open it...
You won't hear any of the regulars complaining too much because we know it won't do any good.
Plus we're all brilliant enough to realize that the Gorge thing is now the #1 priority. As the Lance Photo Book was a little while ago.
As well as the last few posters have all sucked. So truthfully there hasn't been a high demand poster since the Klausen shark. We've been lulled to sleep

Aaron Horkey is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. His blue Hope Con print was my first of his, now I am waiting on his new Isis print. Can't wait.
I do like Horkey and his level of detail but at times I find it a little too busy ... like in a messy sort of wayDon't Believe Everything You Think0 -

I like Horkey a lot too, but I agree with Lou that his prints can be a bit busy at times. I absolutely love that Isis print though.
Another problem I have with hime is that I really don't like any of the bands that he does posters for (except his Arcade Fire poster from 2005, that thing's sweet!).
I keep missing the Burlesque sales so I haven't been able to score any of his prints yet, but I'll keep trying!http://www.expressobeans.com/public/member.php?id=6105

So is there any word on who is doing the '07 Euro posters? If it's Ames, how do you go about getting a subscription? I just check emek.net often. He gave advance notice on the Melvins one and from what I understand they were still available after about 20 minutes of being on sale. He did one of those "email me at 12:00, first xx get one." A lot of the emails sent right away (12:00:00-12:00:05 from what I've read) were time stamped as too early on Emek's server and I'm sure no one risked emailing twice so all the early birds got shut out leaving some left for the stragglers.http://www.expressobeans.com/public/member.php?id=6105

yeah, my phone said 1:00, my computer said 12:59... I sent in the Peeping Tom before the melvins, I didn't want to be early(I have been with Justin Hampton before and he always says "email me after ___")
I have a BoNA subscription, I love horkey, my only problem is the prints are such odd sizes that I don't know if I'll ever frame them... I picked up 2 40x26 posters a few weeks ago, I was going to get them framed and they are too large to frame using http://www.americanframe.com (awesome framing site!!!)...0 -

Ha there's always hope for a better run this time. I tried to send Ames and email because I couldn't figure out where to sign up for their mailing list and I don't even know if it went through. Same with Emek's site...they have those weird pop up email forms.9/1/98, 8/9/00, 8/12/00, 4/11/03, 4/12/03, 4/13/03, 4/19/03, 9/28/04, 9/29/04, 10/1/04, 10/2/04, 10/3/04, 10/8/04, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 6/11/08, 6/12/08, 10/27/09, 10/28/09, 10/30/09, 10/31/09, 10/30/2013, 4/8/2016, 4/9/2016, 4/11/2016, 4/13/20160 -

I've signed up for emek's emails 4 times now, still haven't got one. No problems with any other artists I have signed up for.
