    USPS has some (free) crush proof triangle shaped Priority mailing boxes long enough to put a poster tube in...just use standard poster tube...wrap with one layer of bubble wrap and put some newspaper in either end of the USPS box...inner poster tube shouldnt move...plus it will take alot of abuse in the mail this way...I've mailed several this way and no probs at all...only costs the standard Priority Mailing fee this way too ... $4.80 I think

    Here's a link for the freebies from USPS....they'll deliver the boxes to your doorstep at no charge...

    this kinda reminds me of the video of " One " U2 made back in the day.

    Yes, there were 3 different videos , but the one i speak of is the one that was inspired by the Buffalo running off the mountaintops.
    This was from a famous painting, and I believe it was a metaphor , at that time, for the aids virus .
