yeah, i kind of got that impression from what i've read around here lately. if they want to be a-holes towards me, that's their prob. not too worried about it tho. i'll just probably be up front and say 'hey, im on synergy, got a prob? go eat a bag of d*cks.' yeah, i stole that one, sue me. :)

hey its no problem , alltho i may have been pissed off at first, i have since come to my senses , and had many offers .
I offered to get somebody one , and it is now spoken for ( as of right now- i think )

these pobably seems stupid but ive never shipped posters overseas,...

does anyone have any idea whatsoever how much it would be to ship to , lets say , Belgium , from Eastern USA ? And does the delivery confirmation thing still work in Europe ( outside of USPS jurisdicitions ) ?

    Thanks .

around $11 - $15 I think.. and USPS Global Priority doesn't give you a tracking number - Global Express does, but that's in the $20+ range. You can use usps.com to do the customs paperwork and stuff... list it as a gift.. and the cost as $5 so that the receipient doesn't have to pay crazy customs fees.

why would you ask someone to get you one and then not follow through?

personally I find it a little bit shitty

why don't you find one of those people at BRY and put them in touch with Bath?

And btw I did offer to give him the money still but as I do not need two of them I told him to offer it to others as I know there are many people who contacted him about it and I did not want to be a HOG.

It was not about the money I offered to follow through, I would hook Bath up w/ someone but he would not return my PM.

Then it gets lost and you only get 5 bucks back.
BTW Foxy, I'm very depressed that I didn't get the SE Hampton and only you can cheer me up. So trade me that damn LA already and forget that other hunk.

With Global Priority, yeah there's a chance that it could get lost. Global Express is tracked and insured up to... a $100 I think?

Hehe I just realized (duh) that my LA matches my beach towel... Whatcha got in exchange. I'm too lazy to check my EB inbox heheh :D

From your EB wanted list I could give you a Tom Petty Pearl Jam Milwaukee 06 Ames S/N. I don't have any others from your wanted list.

there's plenty of hub bub on EBeans about the 2nd edition

Slater did come out and explain what happened

Can't say that I fault him.

But I also can't say that I'm happy that I paid $100 for a print that can now be had for $30. But it's a nice print and I love it like all my other step children.

yeah, i read that thread. i can understand both sides of the argument, but i'm happy because i ended up with a second edition gold variant. i may buy the silver one too at some point (if it's still available when i make up my mind).

there was a time when i also considered paying around $100 for the first edition, but i never pulled the trigger. what's not to like? clerks is awesome and slater prints are equally awesome... it's not that hard to justify the expense.

i wasn't really expressing a pro or con opinion with my previous post about second editions, it was actually just a variation of a quote from clerks 2 regarding the subject of ATM...

and i'm not talking about banking machines...

i see both sides also... but slater didn't do it with bad intentions... he made a business decision that i would of also made... kevin smith is more important than nancy kerrigan and her friends on EB

i'd assume he's not going to make a habit of it

i did drop the money on both 1st editions... because i love clerks... and slaters work

maybe slater will make a clerks 2 print with a donkey theme :)
