    Sharon Stone made a not so smart statement while on the red carpet in Cannes. She was asked if she had heard about the disaster that hit China recently, and her answer was:

    Well that's one way of looking at things, Sharon. Although, we don't think most people agree with that way of thinking. She tried redeeming her comment afterwards but you can't take what you said back.

    WTF? What an asinine thing to say! Has she not been watching the news? The death toll is over 69000+ with 18000+ still missing. There are people suffering and the country is struggling to save those who are still trapped. They need help not stupid comments like this. It's like blaming Hurricane Katrina on the Iraq war.

    I think I read she has 3 movies coming out and China has now banned her films. Christian Dior also dropped her from their ads. Now that's Karma!


    And this is any worse then you have ever read on this board? Everybody is different and this it what she may believe in. No different then the Chinese believing these events are happening because of the year of the rat or whatever year they are in this year. Just as dumb in my mind.

    Sharon Stone is insane.

    This was a horrible thing to say, I understand that the Chinese govt. is totally fucked, but you cant say that thousand of innocent people were killed because of "Karma" because karma doesn't exist!
