Actually, haha, I was sitting here at work this afternoon eating my breakfast. And I just happened to be connected to this site web-elvis.com which is one of the products I support.

So, technically, yea I did have breakfast with E.L.V.I.S. this morning.

IF the Bush Administration possessed the ability to pull of the September 11, 2001 attacks without a hitch... how come the Iraq War has become such a fucked up mess? And Afghanistan... how do they explain that one?
I do not belive they are capable of orchestrating a flawless event... yet, be so stupid and fucked up at the same time. They'd have to be like Rain Man or something... which, i think they might be... except without all the card counting and long term memory and shit.

I doubt that they orchestrated 9/11. Although I strongly suspect that they knew of it in advance and chose to allow it to happen.

Well, my current view is that Al-Qaeda actually flew the planes and planned it all out. Which is equally as amazing. The Bush Administration allowed it to happen as a pretext for a 100 year war.

Another unconstructive, and meaningless comment from PaperPlates. They tend to get a bit boring after a while. Do yourself a favour, and read the book I mentioned above. Maybe then you'll be able to say something vaguely interesting.

Maybe so. I read stories and saw the PBS:Frontline episode regarding John O'Neill (tasked to investigate al Qaeda, ref: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/knew/ ) and the evidence was all there.
The Neo-Conservative agenda (Project For The New American Century) outlines a plan in Paul Wolfowitz's 'Rebuilding America's Defenses' ( http://www.newamericancentury.org/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdf ) where he explains that support from the public to go ahead with Cold War sytle military build up would require a 'New Pearl Harbor' type of event.
I just think these guys saw this as their golden opportunity to fufill their wet dreams of American Economic/Socio-political Imperialism.

We should focus on getting our dysfunctional household in order before we point a gun at others and tell them to be more like us, or else. We're supposed to be the good guys... why are we acting like the former Soviet Union?

Is that how you got so god damn interesting? Via this book? Man, its worked miracles, because you are the most interesting poster I've ever seen. ;)
Its funny, because the amount of comments I get via pm says that many here find my posts both interesting and amusing, and sometimes even thought-provoking.

So, judging from your posts and most of the others round here, interesting posts means posting essentially the same fucking thought over and over again. Why not just get an "auto-poster" that types in "Bush sucks, and America does too" and you could save yourself alot of time. Besides, I refuse to take anyone who spells favor as favour seriously. :) And next time you want to criticize my pointless post with a pointless post of your own, try pm'ing me. Itll save you the embarassment of being a hypocrite.

So you don't take Brits or Canadians seriously? Did you ever think maybe it's just America that spells it "favor"?

Also, I get a number of PM's about my posts as well. It's odd that no one PM's me and tells me my posts suck. I wonder why that is... NOT!

As for being embarrassed for being a hypocrite, that's never happened, because I'm consistent. And I've never siad that 'America sucks', although I have said that 'Bush sucks' - or words to that effect - on many an occasion. I have been careful to make the distinction.

P.s, maybe my initial post criticising you was a bit harsh. Apologies. I need to learn to word my abuse a tad more tactfully. ;)

I agree with everything you say here. I read that 'Rebuilding America's Defenses' section of the 'Project for the new American century' site. Scary stuff. This should be required reading for anyone interested in contemporary world politics.
