Caffeine, prescription drugs, listening to music, talking on the phone, talking to a passenger, all impair you, too.

The question should be how much does pot impair you? Is it enough to affect your driving abilities?
Nearly every jurisdiction has limits on the volume of music for safety reasons. More and more jurisdictions have rules against cell phone use while driving. People are sometimes but not often enough convicted of driving while impaired while on prescription drugs.

I don't want a zero tolerance for pot, just an acceptable level like we have for alcohol. And to be prudent until that level is set and an easy to use measurement system is devised I'm all for zero tolerance.

And I still think it needs to be proven that it's dangerous. I'd like to see the numbers of how many accidents are caused from being under the influence of pot.

Sleep depravation and fatigue are probably worse than most impairments. Malnutrition is bad too.
It's this type of immature attitude towards others safety is why I will always vote against the legalization of pot. Once you grow up and accept responsibility and accountability I'd vote in favor of legalizing pot. Sorry, but to me you come across as babies when you refuse to address a very legitimate issue of public safety and driving.

Would you get on a plane if you saw the whole flight crew hitting the bong big time? After all it doesn't impair them, or so you seem to be argueing? They'll fly safer, right.

One is one too many. It's preventable, take a cab.

I was pointing out reality, I don't agree with people driving while they are tired either, but none-the-less everyone still does it and so do I. I'm not about to make up excuses for my irresponsible driving, I know it's wrong to drive under the influence of fatigue, but I do it anyway, everyone does.

One person may be too dumb to drive. Let's have iq requirements along with getting your license.

One person may be too sleepy. Let's have sleep requirements before we can leave the house.

One person may have been to jittery. Let's have limitations on how much coffee we can consume before driving.

Hey if you can figure the way to address these, go ahead.

We can't fix all the world's problem, but those we can we must. This is a straight forward problem witha straight forward solution, zero tolerance until an easy to administer test is developed and a safe thc level is found.

Impossible MJ stays in your blood for days. You could smoke herb yesterday in the safest possible conditions no cars for miles under strict supervision then drive 100% sober the next day and whamo... busted for intoxicated driving.

i would consider this a unexpected, but very welcomed bonus. :D

  • Wonderland? I used to work practically beside the place for 5 years...

I'm a roller coaster junkie...could ride them perpetually all day with a huge shit eating grin on my face.

I know...but after smoking it...sometimes the munchies gets me so indiscriminate

I made the mistake of going to wonderland on Acid once. The rides were tears in your eyes orgasmic gagging with laughter... The cramped and long line-ups were not quite the "same" :D

Yea, I hate line-ups that's why it takes an entire day to go on a half-dozen rides.

So... they shut down the drop-zone...

They shut down the Drop zone? wtf...is that from that girl getting her legs/feet cut off? maybe the same manufacturer makes the DZ under different names?

The lineup for that ride was totally insane the first year it came out. I think it was like 2.5 - 3 hours according to the lineup signs. I had a seasons pass and would sneak over for lunch sometimes for a coaster or two or after work. I could just walk over.
