And GW. Just to get the facts straight.
Anyway. Mr. Mixpixalix (spelling may be off a little) would probably give most of the "superhero" crowd a run for their money. If I remember back to my justice league of America days. There were some pretty good bad guys (you know what I mean) that only seemed to lose because they couldn't let children like me see the good guys lose and be heart broken. So to wrap up my widdle rant. I think that some bad guys would smoke some of the good guys if given the proper chance.

"I would give the greatest sunset in the world for one sight of New York's skyline. Particularly when one can't see the details. Just the shapes. The shapes and the thought that made them. The sky over New York and the will of man made visible. What other religion do we need? And then people tell me about pilgrimages to some dank pesthole in a jungle where they go to do homage to a crumbling temple, to a leering stone monster with a pot belly, created by some leprous savage. Is it beauty and genius they want to see? Do they seek a sense of the sublime? Let them come to New York, stand on the shore of the Hudson, look and kneel. When I see the city from my window - no, I don't feel how small I am - but I feel that if a war came to threaten this, I would throw myself into space, over the city, and protect these buildings with my body."0 -

Did you catch my earlier post in this thread...my father is this eccentric collector dude--once of comics books (and is still a major record collector in Canada). I was raised on the old school comics and a complete subculture life of the day. Although, it's embarassing that I've forgotten much of my comic book past. I personally adored the Spirit, who sadly could not compete with his complete lack of superpower. :( My other fave, though, Captain Marvel sure could. He'd kick Superman's butt, that's for sure.

"As you know, l'm quite keen on comic books. Especially the ones about superheroes. I find the whole mythology surrounding superheroes fascinating. Take my favorite superhero, Superman. Not a great comic book. Not particularly well-drawn. But the mythology... The mythology is not only great, it's unique. Now, a staple of the superhero mythology is, there's the superhero and there's the alter ego. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne, Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. When that character wakes up in the morning, he's Peter Parker. He has to put on a costume to become Spider-Man. And it is in that characteristic Superman stands alone. Superman didn't become Superman. Superman was born Superman. When Superman wakes up in the morning, he's Superman. His alter ego is Clark Kent. His outfit with the big red "S", that's the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby when the Kents found him. Those are his clothes. What Kent wears - the glasses, the business suit - that's the costume. That's the costume Superman wears to blend in with us. Clark Kent is how Superman views us. And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent. He's weak... he's unsure of himself... he's a coward. Clark Kent is Superman's critique on the whole human race (...)" (Bill - Kill Bill Vol. 2)

Pleeeeease tell me they aren't talking about the turtles....the ninja turtles would waste every superhero known to man.....well, maybe with the exception of Batman.....I'M NOT A SLAVE TO A GOD THAT DOESN'T EXIST.

Touche Turtle
It's like the weakest link. At the begining certainly Superman would be the biggest threat, and thus why all the other's would work to bring him down, the process would continue until few heroes are left, and they would be some of the weakest. I think Touche would win because he would be considered one of the weakest, but he is very cunning and would prevail in the end.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire0 -
Well, in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns", Batman (he is 65 years old in the comic book) did beat Superman. However he has a heart attack a few seconds later.
