That's a broad statement, and there were significant disagreements over the "how." You also have to realize that was over two years ago. Though I still think it's a disagreement over the how, the overall outlook is a lot different now than it was two years ago.

I gotta step out, but when I get back i'm gonna have to read up on these.

I find that quite interesting, and would be interested in knowing why 3 months later he changed the vote. I DON'T think it's about being a Presidential candidate because 10 months ago, I can assure you he wasn't planning on running for President. I think the last round of stumping for other candidates across the country really made him think hard about it.

I would love to know "how" Obama would accomplish this.

I rest my case. You practically raised the man and you, well... I'll just be an idiot.

Don't you understand yet that all I want to do is kill people? To hell with information.

All I want to do is kill too. I think those flying squirrels really need to go. They're number one on my list. Squirrels are not supposed to fly, so I am going to kill them all.

I'm not entirely positive, but if I remember correctly the 2005 vote was to reauthorize the entire patriot act, and the 2006 vote was with some of the more controversial parts taken out.

Well... Yes. You just told everyone how close you are to the man and you have no idea how the guy votes. The Patriot Act wasn't exactly an obscure piece of legislation.

By saying that I worked with the man and knew him before he was "the next big thing" does not equal to he and I being BFF. I did know that he switched his vote on the Patriot Act and am looking now as to why.

I know how the man votes, but I don't know WHY he would change his vote. If I were inside his head I would let you know- maybe someday though
