    I can't vote for a president with a mullet.

Not that I would vote for Hillary or ever defend her; but after eight years of having a president who's a verbal trainwreck, a mindless liar and can barely tie his own shoes; a mullet seems rather a petty and insignificant thing to concern oneself with.

Tell that to Billy Ray Cyrus...

15 years ago, he would not have got my vote, but now that he's got a flat iron and a soul patch he'd get my vote in a heartbeat.

  • He seems to be killing her in this debate, she can't even get ahead of him on "her" issue of healthcare. She got slaughtered on the plagiarism question and now she is sitting idly watching him own her on Iraq. She needs to just quit.
I was taught a month ago to bide my time and take it slow, but then I learned just yesterday to rush and never waste a day. Now I'm convinced the whole day long that all I've learned is always wrong. Things are true that I forget, but no one taught that to me yet
  • Jesus...thought we were going to have another tear jerker moment there.

I think that Obama wins this debate because she didn''t do enough. She tried to pound him on health care and could not deliver. Obama won easily on the Iraq war. Besides that they sure agreed a lot for a campaign with 12 days to go.
  • I didn't watch the debate. I'm not a Democrat. What the hell do I care?

But ... I was just on another message board where the consensus was Hill-Bill had wiped the floor with Barry. So I thought I'd see what the Moving Train thought.

Funny how two different groups can see the same debate totally differently.

  • What makes me think that Obama won was that Clinton didn't hit one out of the park. If she did win the actual debate, I think it is because of her "letting her guard down" again at the end of the debate. It will be the quote you hear most. When she won portions of the debate, it wasn't the knock down momentum changer that she needs.

Anyone still watching CNN? They said the last line Clinton used at the end of the debate about how 'we'll be fine, we have our families, I just worry about the American people and that's who the election is about' was borrowed from John Edwards, almost word for word.

A bit hypocritical after her running with the Obama plagiarism bullshit.

    She's done.

Can Obama woo Latinos away from her? Because if not, she wins Texas. And if she wins Texas, she's not done.

    Food for thought.

I saw that as well. She mentioned John Edwards a couple of times tonight. She is really trying to land his support. She will probably get it too. However, it might help her in Ohio but not in Texas.

Obama is just now starting to spend time and money in TX and OH. The latest polls have them tied in Texas, and Clinton only up 7 in Ohio. If I am Mark Penn on the Clinton camp I am very worried. When Obama spends time in a state his numbers skyrocket and right now you cannot go super negative because it did not work in SC or WI, and you would be giving John McCain material for the general election.

Just spam every Texan in America with that YouTube video that Hillary doesn't want you to see, and we can speed things up.

He won the immigration debate imo when he talked about passing the grant to allow children of immigrants that have grown up in America to have access to healthcare and education, and not wanting 2 classes of people.

Hillary offered nothing new. The same old "I'm ready to lead on day one" and just reciting her resume when asked if Obama wasn't ready on day one. Obama came back with the vote on Iraq, how he already has shown commander in chief leadership where Hillary hasn't.

The "change you can xerox" line was terrible. Bill pretty much said today that if Obama wins either Texas or Ohio that Hillary would be finished.

It's really not about who you think won what. A bunch of people Hillary is counting on to carry her probably weren't even watching the debate.

Clinton has lost 11 consecutive states. The 'people she has counted on' in the most recent elections have been shifting toward Obama. He's chipping away at her base and that may include part of the Latino vote if the trend continues.

Look for clinton to start getting sappy, whiny and shed a few tears between now and March 4. She, IMO got killed in the debate. Killed on Cuba, Killed on the preparedness thing, killed on her childish slanders and smears about plagiarism and just words, destroyed on Iraq, hell she even lost on healthcare IMO. Yet, all anyone is talking about is her emotional "human moment". Its like everyone forgot the beating she had just taken in the actual debate. The funny thing is, for all her talk of Obama being all fluff and no substance, he killed her on all matters of substance and she is the one going out with fluff that seemed, once again very contrived. "Its what gets me up in the morning... blah, blah, blah". Fuck her.

Not only was it over before the debate, but as far as debates go Obama has gotten better and better and pretty much bitch slapped her tonight.

At this point I kinda hope she stays in it because by the time she's done he will then make McCain his little bitch. Hehehehe!

Which brings us back full circle here.

Will he grab a larger portion of the Latino vote or won't he? I'm not saying he won't or can't ... just that's what it's going to take.

It's funny how your perspective can color things. A lot of people seem to have scored this one for Hill-Bill.

He will grab a larger portion than he's been getting. He may not carry the Latino vote, but i think he will get enough. i think the Latino vote, where it is indeed significant in Texas, is a bit overstated. From what i understand it is expected to be about 1/4 of the electorate. Not only that, it is concentrated in areas that aren't exactly delegate rich according to Texas primary policy. What that means is that 3/4 of the electorate is other than Latino, and in more "delegate rich" portions of the state. Besides Obama has been chipping away at the Latino vote. If clinton carries Texas, it won't be by much and she can't afford to split delegates.

Yeah, he doesn't have to win the Latinos outright. Just grab a large segment of them. It will be interesting to see if he can pull it off.

  • I will vote March 4th

In my opinion, Hillary really kicked ass.......

I had decided on voting Democratic / Obama since yesterday after seeing his care and concern for his fellow man, the fainting spells (he even offered water from behind the poteum to one woman)

I know all my Ron Paul friends will say , "Man, you're a Traitor"

I have always voted Democratic since I was born, I voted for Dukakis, Clinton, Gore and Kerry too. (showing my age now)

I registered Rep just to vote for Ron Paul, but he's got no chance at all (btw Texas is an open primary, I can vote in the Dem or Rep Primary, but only one)

soooooooooooo it's down to Hillary and Obama now

McCain is not a choice, or even the Huck

from the highlights I saw after i got home from killing brain cells Hillary seemed to really impress me, maybe I killed too many brain cells, hell I don't know

but you never know, I may still Vote for Obama

    I just don't fucking know

  • early in the debate, when she said she lived in texas early in her career signing people up to vote...she was signing them up to vote republican! she switched later when she realized being a dem was a better career move. just one example of her calculated politics. just like telling new yorkers she was part jewish when she ran for senate there. or how about trotting out a little mexican-american boy in a sombrero last week during a speech? she will do or say anything for your vote (watch her start crying in the coming weeks at critical times). i can't respect that.

haha. that shit's funny. i agree, she will do/say anything to get the nomination. she's the least sincere candidate on the ticket, imo. can you paste a link to any of the above information (e.g. working for the republican party, faking jewishness, trotting out a little mexican boy in a sombrero)? i would like to read this info. somewhere. thanks.
