what a dick...all he did was cut her off, talk over her and distort what she was saying...he kept saying 'so, you're saying america is evil and everything is our fault?' and she keeps saying no but he keeps insisting that is his stance

for those of you who swear oreilly doesn't take his own perspective of what a guest is saying and forces it to be the truth

standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
eager to identify with
someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

Exactly what I expect from this douchebag.

  • She was actually trying to agree with him on the technical point of the Geneva Convention, but she couldn't because he refused to shut the fuck up for five seconds.

I can't figure out why Democrats would ever have even entertained the idea of appearing at a Fox News-sponsored debate.

  • I can't stand watching these O'reilly clips. This guy has such a toxic personality. He doesn't listen to a word anyone says and is so quick to put his own words and perspective in their mouths. He doesn't care what they have to say, he simply talks over them and if they don't allow that he pulls their mic. How can people buy this shit as unbiased?
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

  • i'm not sure how people can see this as journalism, or even "infotainment". he's constantly going on about "the culture wars", but i'd hope that most people who see his act find him to be a fucking embarassment.

and he lies, he read an email on his tv show and the person mentioned the cia at guantanamo bay. he chastised it and acted like it was the obivous, holy truth that only the armed forces, not the cia, operate there....

all i did was google 'cia guantanamo bay' and the first hit was

At Guantanamo, a Prison Within a Prison
CIA Has Run a Secret Facility for Some Al Qaeda Detainees, Officials Say

By Dana Priest and Scott Higham
    Washington Post Staff Writers
    Friday, December 17, 2004; Page A01

Within the heavily guarded perimeters of the Defense Department's much-discussed Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba, the CIA has maintained a detention facility for valuable al Qaeda captives that has never been mentioned in public, according to military officials and several current and former intelligence officers.

The buildings used by the CIA are shrouded by high fences covered with thick green mesh plastic and ringed with floodlights, officials said. They sit within the larger Camp Echo complex, which was erected to house the Defense Department's high-value detainees and those awaiting military trials on terrorism charges.....

it's from 2004, but it's not like it's some crazy talk that the cia would operate there

    Colonel Ann Wright:

Wright earned a Master's Degree in National Security Affairs from the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island and later participated in reconstruction efforts after U.S. military actions in Grenada and Somalia.

Wright was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from 1982 to 1984. One of her duties during that time was to draw up contingency plans for invading several countries, one of which was Iraq. She would later express dismay over what she considered the dismissal of such carefully laid plans in the actual invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Wright went on to serve 16 years in active duty in the U.S. Army, and 13 years in the Army Reserves, rising to the rank of colonel. She was placed in the Retired Ready Reserve, meaning the President could call her back to active duty in a time of need.

    Bill O'Reilly:

    Former host of Inside Edition.

  • Bill O'Riley's view point is so twisted and evil, I cannot believe that more than one American per day watches that show. Bill just like all the others on the far right have been so brainwashed by all this crap and they actually believe it, which is the most astonishing thing. For the last 6 years, the right have nose dived this country, thank god we are begining to wake up, Hopefully the American people can take the reigns from the christian conservatives and change the direction of this country before it is too late.

    Bill O'BigPileOfShit.

Someone should drag this bag of crap into the alley way and kick his ass up and down for about 30 minutes.

He talked so much crap in that clip, so many contridictions; it really just comes off like a Jerry Springer episode. No real difference.

There should be some sort of training to go on his show, you know? I think a guy like that can be dealt with. The reason why he is successful is because there is unfortunately a segment of society who enjoys what he does and likes to see him treat 'the other side' the way he does. But I think one could practice how to deal with him before you go on. (I almost never watch the show, though my husband will turn it on now and again to keep an eye on Bill so to speak.)

I won't watch it. O'Reilly has an attention addiction that gets him to do something fucked up every 30-60 days or so to get people talking about him, and it's all gotten a bit tiresome.

    I'd love to see a 26-year-old Vedder on O'Reilly's show, and the inevitable nose-busting blood-blasting head-butt to Bill's face.

    Hehehehehe.

  • Dear Pearl Jam Fans,

Like americans voting for sanjaya, your focus (and those likeminded) on FoxNews and how bad it is, is what makes it popular. If the left stops bitching about O' Reilly, he becomes as irrelevant as Randi Rhodes.

Just thought id point that out.

    Good to see ya, btw.

Here comes MLB 2007, already! I'm sure we'll see more of each other in these places as the season gets under way.

Very true. I never watch the guy nor seek him out. However, this was posted and I thought I'd comment. :)

What's with the dig towards RR?? One of the greatest guitarists in rock will never be irrelevant. :)

This guy will never be irrelevant as long as he pushes his shit on television. He give a large number of voters confirmation on their narrow view.

It wouldn't make a difference who calls... you can't get the upperhand on him in a conversation, because if he's loosing the debate, he won't listen, and will just make up an easy stance to win against and put those words in your mouth.
