im not a political expert, but to me it seems like he's the lesser of two evils is all i can give you, and i'd like to vote for someone else like a kucinich or nader but that might put mccain in the whitehouse, and we really don't need another republican in there
i have wished for so long, how i wish for you today

who are you advocating that i vote for?

edit: just read your sig, i voted for him in 2000. . .in a perfect world i'd probably vote for him again, but lets be honest he's not going to win and we cannot afford to have another republican as president

he won't win b/c ppl like you, who say they support him, are too scared to vote for him. how is someone going to ever get enough votes to win w/ attitudes like that? what you are saying is you don't care how shitty the dems are, it doesn't matter as long as it's a D and not a R next to their names. if you keep excusing it and letting them get away w/ being ineffectual then why would they ever even think about changing??

well, i voted for him in 2000 and that didnt get him in office, i have a feeling my vote will not be the vote that determines whether he gets into office or not. . .that said i don't have a problem with people voting for him. . .what can i tell you man, it is a flawed system, the electoral college should be eliminated and then people would be more likely to vote for who truly represents them

if more people would have done that in 2000, we wouldnt have the president that makes nixon look wonderful. remember budget surplus? remember the republicans working on character assassination (because thats all they had) ? remember the great economy? i miss the clinton years.

a nader vote is a throw away vote. you know the 2 party system will never let an indy win. not in today's climate.

you've been anti obama from the beginning but i'd like to see your balanced anti Mccain message as well.

its time for an adult to clean up the childs overspending. taxes must be raised.

Why do people act like elections are a guessing game? Do you get a cash prize if you vote for the winning candidate? A vote for Nader can't be a throwaway vote if it's an honest vote.

do a search yourself and you'll see i started a thread about mccain earlier in the week

so you're saying the dems will never let anyone else win but the 2 party's and you're ok w/ that??? to me supporting that is throwing my vote away. they don't care about you or what you want so why support them?

I remember the economy careening toward recession in the last days of the Clinton regime. That shit is cyclical. His presidency was no picnic, either, although admittedly anything looks good compared to this.

This is the problem with irresponsible people Rather than fixing problems, and solving runaway spending, just fuckin' raise taxes. Great plan for the power-mad and unimaginative.

    exactly!!!!!

there's more than enough money already being taken in for things like health care and other things. just cut all the wasteful spending! the problem is our elected representatives aren't being held accountable for their misuses. like the money they spent a few years ago to find the rate of homosexuality in native americans....wtf do we even need to know this!? and why the hell should we pay to find out!?

make them accountable for how they spend our money and there more than likely wouldn't be any need to raise taxes
