Keith Olbermann on the difference between terrorists and critics:

I love Countdown. It just feels right, when I'm watching. It's like ,"Yeah! Tell it."
No-holds-barr, commentary. I listen to Rush in the morning and Keith at night. Between the two, I get the picture.

The fact that he calls Bush a liar, well who doesn't know that?

Unfortunately, I think there are quite a few people who don't know that, or who refuse to believe it.

    Agreed.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

edgarcamp's argument doesn't seem to add up in my mind.
What about Olbermann's editorials makes him left leaning?
Just because, the fact that it contradicts everything that is coming from the White House which represents the right doesn't make it left. Especially ,if your not arguing the accuracy of his editorials.
What about telling the truth attaches you to a specific ideology?
Whether YOU know it or not is not the issue. It's whether or not other people know the truth.
A recent Zogby poll came out putting President Bush's approval rating at 33%. If they know the truth like you claim. Wouldn't that sort of make 33% of americans polled have some sort of psychosis?

This, I guess, is the larger picture...

I didn't take it personally EdgarCamp, I just feel it's important for someone to show all of the people who blindly follow leadership that there are serious issues to contend with.

Within days after the Bush Administration united and said "we don't know what Bill Clinton is talking about" Olbermann documented for the world that:

    They are liars.

Unfortunately - as Jane has said - there are many people in this country who either don't know this or refuse to believe it.

It's important that people do this.

    It isn't about reinforcing beliefs

    It's about educating on facts.
