It was kind of strange, dintcha think, that John McCain came to the defense of his supporters last night after Barack Obama pointed out that people at McCain/Palin rallies were shouting out "terrorist" and "kill him!" in reference to Obama.
Now an Al Jazeera camera crew caught the honest sentiments of McCain/Palin supporters at an Ohio rally:
“I’m afraid if he wins, the blacks will take over. He’s not a Christian! This is a Christian nation! What is our country gonna end up like?”
“When you got a Negra running for president, you need a first stringer. He’s definitely a second stringer.”
“He seems like a sheep - or a wolf in sheep’s clothing to be honest with you. And I believe Palin - she’s filled with the Holy Spirit, and I believe she’s gonna bring honesty and integrity to the White House.”
“He’s related to a known terrorist, for one.”
“He is friends with a terrorist of this country!”
“He must support terrorists! You know, uh, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. And that to me is Obama.”
“Just the whole, Muslim thing, and everything, and everybody’s still kinda - a lot of people have forgotten about 9/11, but… I dunno, it’s just kinda… a little unnerving.”
“Obama and his wife, I’m concerned that they could be anti-white. That he might hide that.”
“I don’t like the fact that he thinks us white people are trash… because we’re not!”
Yep, McCain must be so proud.
The rest of us, well ... let's just say those polls should tell the story.

What about not voting for him because of the creepiness that he can't raise his arms above his shoulders?
Like some of those other hideous reasons that would be such a low class reason to NOT to vote for him.

Hm, really? I don't doubt that there are mindless people voting for Obama (I've met a few myself), and there's been some anger directed at specifically Palin that I've found disconcerting at times, I think it'd be hard to make an argument that the level, frequency and ferocity of anger at McCain/Palin rallies exceeds the former. Thus far, the worst thing I've seen from Obama rallies are disgusting t-shirts disparaging Palin; the worst thing I've seen or heard from McCain rallies are supporters who advocate for Obama's assassination. There is a difference there, and it's been much more public and accepted at these rallies as these videos can attest. To be fair, maybe this stuff is happening at Obama rallies and it just hasn't been recorded. However, this "anger" story became a story cause liberal bloggers took cameras and went to McCain rallies; I think it's fair to say that conservative bloggers have probably done the same.
So is there reprehensible behavior in both camps? Sure, but I think after looking at the situation it's pretty obvious the more hateful and more frequent speech is coming from the conservative side of the aisle.
to be honest i wouldnt vote for anyone that couldnt perform the actions to the Village People's Y.M.C.A.
ha ha really what does he do at weddings when they play this song ...:D ..
Ya but i questioned McCain's intent with his response "no ma'am .....no he is a decent person" or something like that.
Is he saying that all Arabs are bad??

Wow. Unreal.
I'm not usually one to defend Cincy, but I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic.
Not to mention all the God/jesus freaks!!! They make me sick. They might be some of the dumbest people on earth!! McCain is no more Christian than Obama. I can't get over how fucking stupid these people are.
Why are they stupid? Oh wait, I forgot who I'm typing to. They are stupid because their beliefs don't match yours. My fault.
double post
i'm all for disagreements but man, i hope you don't complain about mccain and palin supporters spewing hate cause this is just as offensive as what people are saying about obama at those events.
Thanks...that's why I used the wink.
