These studies are hilarious. Use of Alcohol in virtually any aged person "can" lead to addiction.
Eating "chocolate" can lead to addiction.
Running freaking Triathelons "can" lead to additction.
I can't count the number of people who have been hooked on "prescription" medications and before we had those rules... narcotics in general.
People can be hooked on ANYTHING. Does the government need to police everything.. especially a substance as benign as marijuana?
I've seen far worse from tobacco.
For the record aren't type 1's supposedly illicit to even do research? Why is the government breaking it's own rules... don't answer. I know. It's because they don't abide by thier own laws.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.
It is the paralysis that prevents people from operating at a whole-brained level, integrating emotional, intuitive and logical intelligences. It the the paralysis that keeps most people caught up in power struggles, and unable to create their dreams. At root, people blot out their perceptions with all kinds of substances and behaviours and then they see life through those limits; they believe the limits they see is what really exists. And they respond to the limits they create. Look around you...95% of the population do this.

There are different discernable profiles of how using different substances and behaviours affect certain groups of people. For example, how someone using alcohol is affected is different than someone using marijuana. Or someone using food as a mind-numbing substance has an entirely different profile as well. And someone who uses sugar as a crutch, or religion, would have respectively different 'profiles' also.

Well if I understand you correctly, I actually do that so I'll have trouble seeing the others. I think that sometimes you need to blot out your perceptions, at least on certain parts of your life, I think we all do this.

Mostly all do, supposedly, yes.
Some seek to expand their horizons, perceptions and consciousness. I seek to continually resolve my paralyses into clear awareness. I know many, many people who do this.
And to be honest, for many years of my seeking, it has been in order to enable myself to move byond the paralysis. So, while seeking this clear/er perception, I was painfully aware of the areas I needed improvement in. As with Self-actualizing individuals. The more aware we are, the more painful it is for us as we grapple with the areas we can use improvement in. It's evolutionary...it's about progress, not perfection.

Weet anders ook wel een aardige shop in Den Haag, maar dat is wel een flink stuk fietsen.
That's true. I usually - usually - like Dutch people. You're more straightforward and I like that in people. There's a dude from Amsterdam in my class. I wouldn't consider him a good friend but we can have good conversations about sports, politics... I really like that fact that he just says what's on his mind. Belgians usually don't do that. I don't like Dutch accent, though
what's so funny about that, is that the decriminalization of that drug and subsequent tourist use has completely turned off the local folks to pot use. Sure a few people smoke it, but far less than in the US where it's prohibited.

I love the Belgian accent! Only with your girls tho.. Even if they're angry it sounds so sweet.
And indeed the Dutch are a blunt (pun intended) type of people, quite direct. And Belgians (in general) are more polite and introvert.
