ok now I feel like an even bigger loser. I was trying to do that at work, and my office firewall was blocking my own website, so I couldn't see that the links actually WERE working. man I wish you could delete your own entries off of this site.

    sorry guys.

  • I keep returning to this thread...
and the more I see the less clear it is to me how the hell are they going to rate all of these..(I hope they've set up some criteria before the posters started to drop in..because now.........and it's hard to rate art anyway..it shouldn't be rated..)

There is this great view from Kushikushun's, sgossard3's really stands out, zenith's poster must be appreciated because it was drawn, then there is hrd2imgn's that has a special retro vibe to it, dunkman's strong message and a great idea and then there are URthekey, bertan and WeaponX55321 that should have their own competition.
And I surely forgot to mention some really great ones.

Many thanks to all that have said nice things about my poster ;)
....and once again..I swear..I have never used Photoshop before..your disbelieve makes me feel proud..and I'm glad I had such a beautiful task as an opportunity to learn it.

I know for a fact that some that have entered competition aren't active on this board so yeah..not a bad idea to put some of the entries in the next Deep...and it would be super interesting to read comments from band members..even the criticism..

sent mine on 12/26 via USPS certified mail, tracked it, and it says that they attempted delivery, and that the 10C has not picked it up yet. I emailed the 10C, and they have not gotten back with me. Not sure what to do...

    For stereotype -

Thanks so much for putting me in a catagory w/bertan & weapon, that's very kind of you but those guys work looks pro and mine shows that I'm just a desperate housewife...lol

anyway I have extra copies that I got printed 11x17 and if you'd like I'll send one to you, free of course, just PM me your mailing info.
(You don't have to hang it up, I'll never know)

Same goes for anyone else who'd like a copy.

    Just spreading the JAM.

hey 10c - we want a mini book!!! we want a mini book!!! you own our blood sweat & tears now - (well, you probably always did, but anyway...)

aahh - these just keep getting better & better. I seriously wonder if there are a couple of frustrated staffers up in 10c headquarters kicking themselves up the arse and cursing whoever came up with this contest :D

  • Hey, I was wondering if there would be a way to check out the other entries. Glad you all posted, glad that PJ attracts talented people. Anyway, here's mine:

    contestposter359595ae2.jpg

I was inspired by the ambigrams in Dan Brown's Angels & Demons. The little green star shapes are based on avocado blossoms. Used my girlfriend's birthday as mine is the same day as Ed's and hey, I don't like working on my birthday.

I was also glad to see I wasn't the only one who picked Mike Watt as an opener. =)

For the people that double posted: you might try pm-ing Kat or Sea and ask them if they will delete your double posts. They did that for me when I had just started on here :D

    hey everyone,

It's not that the contest is finished we need to end creating posters I hope!
So I hope this Thread will stay on for a while and people keep continue with creations like we saw the past 9 or 10 pages.
It is real great to see such amazing arts, and also nice to see how others work and learn from it :)

    Keep sending the ART inhere!!!

    Greetings
