Here is a sign I made to hold up at the E. Rutherford shows. I was behind stage all night 6/3 and got the thumbs up from Mike and Ed reflected his guitar light off it for a few seconds. It's an illustration of WWS. "Tells us to pray while the Devil's on his shoulder..."0

as far as illustrating PJ lyrics goes, i'm working on one of given to fly to the words "wind rose up set him down on his knees", inspiration just struck today as i was listening to the live recording of it at Puerto Alegre. I'll try and scan and post once it's done0

The first night it Ed thought I was holding up the sign to request Bushleager, he asked the crowd if they would BOO that song and the indicated yea (WTF!). Anyway the second night I gave up my 10c seats to get prime exposure behind the stage and it was so worth it. I did feel like I got to be part of the show. Mike looked right at me and put his hands together as if he was praying then gave me the thumbs up. Thats all I needed I fuckin rocked so hard after that!0 -
Doesn't anyone want to try and illustrate "don't know wether I'm the boxer or the bag" ?
appropriate, seeing as how the threadstarter's nick is in it
plus : i'd like to see someone do itSurf little waves big... Charge big waves hard

Here is a photoshop attempt at "don't know whether I was the boxer or the bag. It is an ap photo (and some photoshop) of a fight between christy martin..nicknamed the coalminer's daughter (thought that was appropriate being the ledbetter song) and laila ali. Ali whooped her in four rounds--august 23, 2003.

well, like I said, "don't know wether I was the boxer or the bag was just an assocoated press photo that seemed to fit, then I just dropped a couple of bags in layers. I just thought the chick that lost this one didn't really know if she was the boxer or a bag.
and on "I see them on the front porch, but they don't wave" I just cut and pasted the characters from "American Gothic", gave em legs, added a drop shadow and plunked them on my front porch.
Simple photoshop..haven't played with it in awhile. In fact last time I seriously played in photoshop was like three or four versions ago and I still had cool plug-ins like alien skin. I'll have to brainstorm some more.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm gonna have to do stuff like that next year @ school
As for the boer or the bag : I know my way around photoshop a little, and had that figured out already. thx for the explanation though.
