Here are a couple of shots that I took yesterday. It was a baby oak leaf hidden in one of the plants on my porch.
I just thought it was a perfect little leaf~
ooh we have those trees here... the little round things make great ammo during war games after theyve done their reproducing thing. they go spiky hard and brown... and they hurt!
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say

(I like the blue light on the last one.)
Thanks Justam!
I will come back with some of my own at some point.
If I knew where it was I would take you there.
i love the sense of scale and fragility.
and in contrast, this past june in longwood gardens:
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
This tree is HUGE! My neighbors go down to Longwood all the time, they've dubbed the beautiful garden behind their home sort of a mini-Longwood...

what kind of plant is this?
I live at the red dot.
Look at all the Everglades to the west of me.

I haven't been to the Everglades yet. We're thinking we might want to drive south next Winter to see more of the state.
