The last time i did this avacado was #2 and No Code as low as 5. Been listening to No Code a fair bit and forgot what a masterpiece it is really is. Has grown on me the most. Yield is great but there is an awful amount of hype about it. Agree with production of Ten , but it s greatness hard to ignore. Vitalogy always been my fave though and it gets my nod as thier best. Binaural slips ahead of riot act because of how it sounds with headphones! I think some of the things on Lost Dogs could have been compiled to make a stronger album than Riot Act. Maybe Riot Act and Binaural which have similar themes could be fused together to make a great album.

    1) Vitalogy
    2) No Code
    3) Avacado
    4) Yield
    5) Vs
    6) Ten
    7) Binaural
    8) Riot Act

totally agree about binaural. very textured album and very underrated.

The best two to me are Binaural and vitalogy

I have riot act, pearl jam Vs. and Ten in the next group. good but not as good all around as the top 2.

then i have No code, and Yield as the two i like the least, but even they have good songs. but i really don't like Yield all that much. for the most part, it bores me. I listen to lost dogs way more than yield.

for some it might feel like a cliche to say that Ten is their best by i know it is and if you still don't know about it :) ask anyone who listens to Pearl Jam(and knows all of their albums) but is not a die hard fan will also say the same...ok 99% of the people :) ...
and i am not talking about production of an album - i am talking about the songs... Alive, Black, Jeremy, Release, all of them, except maybe "Deep", are rock classics not because of the videos Pearl Jam made about this album - cause of the greatness of the songs. Its really unique album.

I think that the consistent subject matter makes Pearl Jam the most "datable" album. Though it does have Inside Job on it which is one of my favorites.
