I am clinically certified weird - and proud of it!! I'm desperately trying to resist being part of the McMoronisation of society, the lobotomisation of identity. That's why I like this part of the forum - and threads like these!!

I was only joking about yous guys being weird ;)

Just ignore me. I've realised the solution to my British accent problem is to insert one particular strategic smilie. Only taken me 12 months to work this one out! ;)

Shakespeare's era was definitely more aural than visual. In Shakespeare's day, people used to speak of going to hear a play rather than see it. There were apparently some Deus Ex Machina gadgets at the Blackfriars theatre but I think The Globe theatre was a bit sparse on the visuals. That is, except when someone tried pyrotechnics during All Is True and burnt the fookin' theatre down.

I've lost myself in thought of a world so blind
I keep looking for the answers
    to set my soul free
    and find the questions within.

and the questions to the answers only fade with time
but I keep on searching for the truth we've left behind
you keep on telling me the world is cruel and bitter place
so I give you a flower and you throw it in my face
but I keep on searching for the answers to the questions
    you can not see.

Da Vinci would use a smiley.

Shakespeare, however, would use a simile.

    Was it worth it?
    Talking to myself.
    No.
    Possible permanent damage?
    I brought it on myself
My throat is on fire, a permanent fire.
Something i'll have to learn to live with.
    Was it worth it?
    Still talking to myself.
    Who needs a voice?
    You fucking idiot.
    Talking to myself.
