I got a facebook friend request and a message from a woman I used to know in NY. She tried to get my job when she found out I was moving. :twisted: This is a woman who typically ignores people until she needs something. I had to learn this the hard way.
Now I wonder how long it'll be before she tries to ask me for a "favor"? I know that's why she's suddenly remembered I'm alive. She's been like this as long as I can remember. She somehow thinks that friendship is a relationship where you get to use other people's resources rather than your own.
I've grown to almost hate her. I'm not granting her request and even though I answered two little messages from her, I'm ignoring any more that come my way.

as i was coming out of a building today i stepped to the side of he sidewalk to let a lil old lady have room to get by....and tripped on the edge of it and fell forward on my hands & knees to catch myself...skinned my fingers on my right big time and thought i broke my left hand. had to go to the ER for x-rays... so spent the afternoon there. my hand isn't broken but it's swollen up like a black& blue baseball mitt :thumbdown:
that's it! from now on i'm bowling right over old folks on the sidewalk :lolno:

I feel correct in my assumption today. I got a third message from her. (I'm not answering it.) She mentions in this one that she's finishing up a degree in administration and she heard through the grape vine that the school I work for is doing a search for someone next year. :roll:
Sometimes it's fun being bright and noticing patterns. (!!)
on my way home last night got pulled over
got 3 tickets for a grand total of $503.50
But at least I'm not in jail...whewwwww
Cops were actually pretty freakin' cool for not towing me and then saying that they'd be leaving the scene since they couldn't see me driving away or they'd have to arrest me... that's actually what they said.
I'm gonna plead not guilty on all counts LOL! We'll see how that goes..but I am. :roll:

that lil punkin would be my grandson theo @ 2 days old...
now he's 3 weeks old and my son & daughter-in-law brought him over today and he spent the afternoon with me...i looove baby gazing him
