The smell of fresh cut grass coming in the window on a cool breeze,
chickadees in the nesting box on the porch outside the window.
Little buttons of birds they are, so much personality.
I think they like me.
They pause on the railing, taking turns on the eggs. Parents live their lives for their young.
I think we have something in common.

how sweetly spoken and so true of nature's critters lil and big...
wouldn't it be nice if all parents followed nature to live their lives for their young? it's sad for some kids having a parent that are self-centered worthless idiots that fly off to do their own thing leaving their kids behind :(

So very true; I see it at the schools all the time. There is always a few kids, that are not taken care of very well by their parents. Makes me wonder what they will become, once they are grown.
I noticed the coolest thing today, i saw a bird's nest with 3 blue/green eggs in the bushes just outside my bedroom window. Soon they will be chirping if it doesn't get too cold at night, it's been in the low 40's the last 2 nights. :shock:
