    as dead as the leaves that litter a winter morn, she rises above it all

    the last dew of the night softens her edges, she is life

    she turns her face to the approaching sun, a beatific smile upon her face

    the sky extends its fingers beckoning, its arms enveloping her with clouds

    damn, why can't i be there with you inside your igloo... ;)

    at least i'd be warm and have the sounds of your breathing along with the ocean to lull me off to sleep :)

    my instant thought came yesterday really-
    my hummingbirds are getting ready to head very south- they are little miracles.
    I watched him at the feeder - so plump flying a fraction of the speed of when he arrived lean in April
    I take a mental picture of him sitting there gorging because next week he'll be a memory but
    next spring he will arrive again
    its this constant I love in nature
    my life is clocked by nature

    yeah, excited/nervous. plus as much as i am looking forward to it, i really really dont want to leave my dog alone. she is going to have someone checking in on her every day a few times a day, but after the big guy died, i feel like a dick for leaving her.

    thanks (it was only small town :oops: ) but i've never played for anyone..so it felt awesome

    it was a packed college bar on "white trash wednesday". could have gone horribly wrong :lol:

    I'd love to, if you live closer... actually, I don't even know where you live... you sound just like me... I just love my dogs so much, there's something about that unconditional love...

    I used to have to black labs, a mother & daughter... I'm still missing them...

    if you knew how cursed i am in terms of the film, soundtrack and ev tours, you'd understand. as much as the film touches me, it has a lot of bad stuff attached to it.

    i guess im fortunate that ive kept this film/soundtrack to myself as my own personal life buoy. tis there when i need centreing. and to find peace.

    the ship sank, i grabbed hold of the buoy, couldn't hold on, and almost drowned. thats pretty much into the wild for me. :D thankfully, i have lots of other stuff in which to seek consolation.

    and liam needs to put some pressure on ed for a down under ev tour. :mrgreen:
