    Not to sure he walked to the door, stopped half way to it and leand agaist a lantern, to once more overthink what he was going to say.

    the nurse checked my vitals and asked how we were doing in that patronising tone they get when you seriously do not want to be lying in bed and they know they're in control. my sister held her tongue until nurse betty left.

    i looked at freya to see if she was being truthful. oftentimes people didn't like telling me the truth. they figured i couldn't handle it or something.

    i was so tired. i was angry at davey. and at freya. my wrist was itching, i rubbed the bandage.

    oh yeah poor little davey. who asked him to play hero anyway. he should have just let me be. everyone would have been happy then. now i'm stuck in this shithole and i hate it. i hate it freya. i hate you. i hate davey. i hate everything you hear me EVERYTHING.
    i fely my sister's arms around me. i collapsed into them sobbing.

    i closed my eyes willing myself away. i could feel myself being lifted up. i didn't put up a fight. i curled up on the bed to bide my time. freya kissed my forehead and told me she'd be back in a minute. i smiled when i heard the door close.

    I lay there as I smiled at the fit it would cause if I got up out of bed to go over to his place, I could take a cab....
