As much as I love PJ...I have to say that I think Cornell takes this one. He has amazing vocals. Just listen to "Reach Down".

I'd have to agree. Cornell PRE-Audioslave is badass. I liked Audioslave, it just wasn't the same.

Was grunge around long enough to merit an "all-time" greatest list?

When are people going to stop saying "grunge"?

When "grunge" is no longer a genre in American music history. So, never.

Gavin Rossdale and Scott Weiland are jokes.

Some of Coabin's live performances were atrocious and his voice was only really good on select songs on In Utero but on Nevermind and Unplugged his voice is enchanting.Wouldn't be my number 1 but at least he had sincerity in his music unlike Gavin Rossdale or Scott Weiland.
Eddie should be top followed by Cornell followed by Cobain followed by Staley.

    Layne Staley should be #1

no one, and i mean NO ONE, has or could copy this mans voice

unlike Cobain and Ed, many people have imitated the voice and style

nothing against that, just originality-wise Staley gets the nod

as far as Weiland, give me a break
