EV White Zippo

Is anyone else's tinted yellow as opposed to white?

    Yeah, mine was tinted yellow, also - I thought it was a little peculiar, but I thought maybe they just looked white in the photo. So are they supposed to be white or tinted yellow???

    Mine's like that, too. I don't mind it, though.

    Does anyone have a pure white one? I'd be interested to know what the bottom of a pure white one looks like. The "yellowish" ones have a tan/beige color on the bottom. I'm wondering if the pure white ones are the same (if there is really a difference).

    zippos are absolutely shit for bowls, release a proper pipe lighter or at least some bics so people who dont care for cigs can participate.

    must be oil based paint... but I dont care shit looks good to me....

    I think those are the ones that were ordered from the 10c as opposed to purchased at the shows...

    that way they can call out the dirty flippers.

    i purchased mine at Newark and it's a creamy white. I also found a EV EK white pic on the floor when I went down to my seat the first time; that one was actual white

    This thread leads me to wonder if any of them white?

    I got mine in the mail and it's off white.

    I was a bit disappointed. Not that it really matters... but i think i would have preferred white. So it matches the picks... like i thought it was going to.

    Anyone have an actual WHITE one?

    Ok so you all made me go dig mine out and to me it looks bright white, not off white or cream color. I got mine at the show in Milwaukee.

    I am so pissed, my son Max was screwing around with my chrome stars one and I swear there is a scratch on it. No one else sees the scratch and I feel bad that I want to order a new one. But now I feel bad that I think one is scratched.
    Not sure if I should order a new one or not.

    it most definitely is not pure *white*......but i didn't look closely. i checked it out once, put it back in the box....and sent it off as a gift for a friend. i only kept the west coast silver one.





    *and i got mine at the show.

    That most certainly is white and that is what all the sample ones at the shows looked like. At least at the shows where i looked... and didn't buy. Now I bought. I kind of don't even want the yellow one. :(

    And I broke down and bought a new chrome stars one. I just knew it would bother me that I thought mine had a scratch!
    Anyone want to buy my one that is maybe scratched?

    Mine is definitely yellowish, I got it at a show. It's still sweet but I'm starting to think I like my chrome one more.

    i was wondering how you went and bought another.....just cheked the 10c goods section...and now see an ev goods section. i had no idea.....:o hahaha. this is what happens when work is crazy for a few weeks, you miss all the goings-on here! :p

    Can you tell me about/take a picture of the bottom of the Zippo? The "off white" one I have has a tan/beige bottom. I was wondering if there is any difference.

    Thanks for the picture. It does look white but it's hard to tell. When I get home I'll try to take a picture of the "off" white one.

    I recently bought the white EV Zippo from 10C and awaiting its arrival....I really hope its white and not yellowish white or I would have grabbed a chrome unit.

    Either way I will be happy to have it.

    I'll go check in a bit. After I took the picture earlier I went ahead and put them all in PJ goodie rubbermaid tub so the kids wouldn't mess with then again. They are all (kids) due home in a few and it will be crazy here for awhile! I'll take a picture of the bottom later.
