Blues Haiku Thread

This thread is devoted to haiku that focuses on the blues. It could be a poem about listening to the blues, feeling the blues, seeing the blues, tasting the blues etc . . . Part of haiku is poverty of spirit that is so intense the poet is in the here and now and sees the fullness of the moment. Sounds odd, but true. Here's a couple to start this thread:
another work day
clunking down the pipes
plumber
something wrong
with the crosswalk
first day back

she sang of her mourning rain
now janis is gone
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
the street blanket
warmed by newspapers
The risk I took was calculated, but man, am I bad at math - The Mincing Mockingbird
the ocean in the distance
surrounded by blue
flame is pushed when lovers pass
refusing to stop
attached to an electric cord
night sending night
The risk I took was calculated, but man, am I bad at math - The Mincing Mockingbird
a queen
the night is beautiful
walking into love
lies waiting satiating
blue rhthyms to roll
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
fingers on my back
eyes singing me home

Each day a snowflake blessing
Heal, fractured skull
an empty post
filled but broken
I hope you feel better, Fins!

whiskey drinks, Muddy Waters
A-how-how-how-how
smoke hazed little corner
guitar fingers, tapping of toes
a soul fills the room
that fits the blues
my jaw tightens

as it is that i am tall..
i've more than once hit wall
that extends wherever i go,
no matter the level is low,
i've cracked me head,
so it's been said,
on each and every distance,
and in every instance,
protusions in my way,
i sit in dissarray
not haiku.. not sorry.. not all there..

Now fight on Dah Porch
sore running muscles
wearing jeans
that others could appreciate

someone new to the forum.. i think..
from mild and balmy
to this grey cold cloudy day
i want to hear blues
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
'why do we suffer?
because we have to'
because we are
born to run
