Not coincidentally, these are some of the strongest and most interesting songs on the last 3 albums. I'll take these tunes over comatose, gods' dice, save you, life wasted, ghost, cropduster, etc... any day.

Aye, id agree with you there. They're some of my favourites, theyve been the ones on those albums that make me double take, kinda like they sit weirdly with the rest of the stuff. (which is a good thing imo)
and Cadillac & Pigeon are brilliant too.
and i like Stone's more recent stuff. its a total departure. busting out Flame in between two random pj songs at a show would be the kind of thing id love to hear. isnt Ed who says Stone refuses do write songs similar to what he's done before? its a good way to be.
to new directions - a lot better than PJ going stale.
