Guys, someone posted this link yesterday and I think it went over some heads. It's an actual vendor, like Stub Hub and they pretty much hint that 2008 tickets are coming. I don't think a commercialized vendor would put this ad up there unless something was forthcoming.
I can't believe those hints went over my head. I totally forgot about Easter.
I did too until this morning when my wife reminded me that we are going to her cousin's house this weekend.....I asked "WHAT FOR????" Their house is disgusting and they have terrible kids and my little ones always get upset over there and start begging to leave (they are 2 and 3).
Cheers,
john
For the record....I am hoping for a tour announcement, but will be happy with anything....with this much build up, I am sure it is a nice announcement. I will also predict that unless PJ commits to playing a private show at every member's house with a setlist of their choosing at no charge.....many will be enraged with such posts as "Why don't they ever play near me?".....Tickets are $60 each.....what the hell?" (as a big Rolling Stones fan, I'd give my left pinkie for $60 concert tickets!) and the ever popular "Why can't I have front row center for every show just because I don't have seniority?".....I joined in 2003 and have a member number that will never get me in the front row.....and I am very happy with the treatment I get in the Ten Club!
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

Good point, they are technically "Scalpers", but they are very commercialized. They did the same thing before The Rolling Stones return to the US in 2006 and even had most of the dates up before they were announced.

That is a generic post common from Stubhub. What it means is that they have, or will be getting an itinerary very shortly and full details will be available soon. Between this and the other link, it is safe to say that there will be at least a few shows played very soon.

my guess is there will be no announcement today. i hope there is, but i'm not counting on it.
It is such a big deal to get a national tour together with on sale dates for general public and a pretty large fanclub, that i am not in a hurry. I'm anxious as hell and refreshing this page every five seconds, but it's hard to blame anyone
Has Kat's alarm gone off yet? mine went off a few hours ago, and I'm just sitting here, like a little kid on Christmas morning waiting to open my presents! And really hoping that one of those pretty gift wrapped boxes contains a Canadian tour date!

"When all your friends and sedatives mean well but make it worse... better find yourself a place to level out."
I think judging by that Stub Hub link from above that dates are indeed coming. They are the leader in online tickets and would be privy to if dates are coming.

Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails are already confirmed....I would be very shocked if they added Pearl Jam to the bill as they already have the two bands that will sell tickets to this event....even though I cannot stand either one of them.

The other thing too, for whatever this is worth is that Stub Hub is owned by EBAY. In other words, if you wanted to go to EBAY to purchase concert tickets, they will automatically direct you over to Stub Hub. So it's a big corporation that would be privy to inside news, such as the "tour dates coming soon."
