Wow, thanks. Tim Buckley is just about my number one vocal idol. As for Luka Bloom, I like what I've heard of him, though I don't know him very well. I'm a great fan of his brother Christy Moore though. Could you recommend any Luka Bloom?

you'll see he likes to mess with tunings as well. Mind you, I'm only talking about the guitar, not the singing.
As for Tim Buckley: I only have Dream Letter, the double live LP. Especially in the last song I mentioned I heard some resemblance: has a sort of haunting and mesmerising feel to it. It stings and you wanne turn away from it, but you can't let it go cause it draws you in.
Something like that ayway, if it makes any sense Keep it up.
Dream Letter was the first Tim album I got. Very moving. I recommend the studio albums Goodbye and Hello, and Happy Sad, too. Thanks also for the Luka link. And thanks for the comments. Cheers.
Okay, I shall pimp this thread no more! But I just wanted to say, prior to letting this thread descend into the merry subways of Archivesville, thanks to everyone who listened.
dude i really dig ur work, ur voice needed some getting acquinted too for me, but man ur talented.. keep it up!
btw it reminded me of nick drake but im not great in comparisons..
As I go through the play list I am struck by the rich varied styles and tempos that emit such uncomplicated beauty that join together genuine, fertile and stirring emotions. It begs to be played again and again. … and again and again… growing and reshaping imaginings.
Thank you soo much for sharing..:)
'..... Ah! A perfect illustration of the poststructuralist paradox. Does the signifier "Merlot" correspond with the 'truth' of the bottle I polished off last night, or do we hold in our thoughts a different "signified" of bottle-of-Merlot-ness? Perhaps we're dreaming of the same bottle!" -FinsburyParkCarrots

That's the one I'll keep going if anyone wants to add me to their friends list or shout, etc.
