Hi girls... Sad today for multiple reasons. I made a playlist on my iPod of eddies Vegas concert last night to listen to while working today. Part of my job is driving a lot which is usually great bc I get lots if time to listen to bootlegs. Anyway I live in an area pretty heavily affected by Sandy. My City of Ruins came up while I was trying to drive around trees downed on houses and power lines. It just really hit me hard. He's such a beautiful person to play this song last night. It was so powerful when he came to the chorus. "Come on rise up... "Then the "with these hands.." part. His voice is so powerful. Anyway just had to share with others who have a chance to understand. Also I am sad bc my brother is in Vegas tonight and I wish I was too. He just texted me a pic of the line. Hope he has mercy on me and buys me a mug. Now I am off to re explore this thread for some vedicine so maybe I can cheer up

Thanks again for all the kind words and vedicine. whispering hands your cat is adorable ... My brother called me at 3am last night freaking out over the show he saw in Vegas. He knows how I feel about black and said it was absolutely incredible. He had great seats too. My husband said last night "airline tickets to Vegas would have been cheap. You should have gone." :x :roll: He said this calmly and with a straight face. Thought it would get ugly for a minute there until I realized I wouldn't have been able to get out of Newark airport anyway. My brothers going to Tulsa too. Should I see if I can work that out or would that be being an irresponsible mother? It's not like I would be abandoning them or something. They have daddy and can survive a couple of days without me. Youngest is 5.... Feeling very guilty for even considering

that Ed gets a little irritated by the distraction
of the flashes from taking photos, and he respectfully
asks us not to. I've seen him truly pissed off, I know
I wouldn't do it. Lol! There are very few people I
respect out of fear of them when angry, Mr. Vedder
is on that list after seeing him fight !
