I haven't checked in here for a few days and just look at all the goodies!
The youtube clip of Masters of War was my first ever sighting of Ed. It was broadcast in the UK late one night way back in 92/3 (? can't remember exactly when it was filmed). I remember I'd just finished watching a movie on video, switched over to the TV and there was this beautiful man I'd never seen before, singing with such passion and incredible energy - the song was already part way through but as a reflex I just hit record on the video (and I've still got that tape!). It probably sounds a bit daft but looking back now I truly think that was a life changing moment for me - think of everything I could have missed if I'd just switched off the TV and gone to bed.
