It wouldn't be completely out there.
    - They have the Vault to purchase/download music (maybe taken down to update/upgrade?)
    - NIN and Radiohead have done it
    - Bands like Gnarls Barkley are releasing albums early to iTunes (unannounced, this week)
    - The Raconteurs are pushing an album weeks after recording it (3/25)

No way. As much as I'd love it...no way. The announcement is gonna be that they are playing the mile high festival...maybe they are gonna do a southern tour, but I would bet a billion dollars there's no new music of any kind...B-Sides or otherwise. They put out a disc in 06...they haven't done a new disc in a two year turnaround since VS. and there would be a lot more industry buzz surrounding a new disc , even if they offered a download. If you heard about Radiohead offering a new disc for download weeks before it happened, we'd have heard about Pearl Jam doing it within a day of it happening...Darn nice thought, but wishful thinking none the less.

All signs point toward a tour but the following items are also suspicious

    1) Worldwide singles listed for release and then pulled. Somewhere it was stated that it was because PJ was trying to buy back their catalog from Sony. Maybe they succeeded.

    2) Danny Clinch interview as referenced before indicates that at some point the Avocado sessions would be released.

    3) A tour would be better with a few new nuggets to play and that would make sense for some b-sides and new covers.
