i won't be sharing my poetry anymore

I keep getting fucked up, creepy as hell PMs from people I've never seen before telling me that my poems are disturbing and that I need to cut off all communications with my 'internet lover' .

Who are these people?? And what the hell do they know about me?? It scares me. And it all started from some poetry I wrote...

so now I never want to post here again.

    Wow, that's too bad. Keep writing. I remember your work and enjoyed it. There are other BBS sites and opportunities for sharing within a local writing community, if you look hard enough. Good luck.

    You would quit writting because of a few critics? What kind of writter are you anyways?

    Just tell them "Fudge you motha fudgas!" and keep writting. I personally enjoy your work very much. I would hate to see you go. Especially since I had just gotten here.

    That is just plain wrong. You cannot give up poetry coz of this. Not good reason enough for doing such thing ;)

    There are some damned scary people on the board, Jessie. Report them to Kat and Sea. They have peoples' IP addresses. If the matter's serious enough, they'll take appropriate action, I'm sure.

    Don't stop posting because of them. You have the power and talent and something of which they're jealous.

    Jessie....the 'mount of times you've made me smile....keep spreadin da luv.....who tha fuk could be so rude.....I agree with Finsbubble.....report them to the mods....actually....I have a better idea.....write MORE poetry.....increase the volume and sod the bastads.....your friend, ISN......:)

    I hate to see you not post, Jessiegirl, but understand your apprehension. Even if you choose (and I'd have to say I'd rather you let it be YOUR choice and not a reaction to some disturbing pm comments from someone who is harrassing you!) not to post, I hope that you continue to write and share your wonderful, heartfelt poetry with the people who care about you! :) You have such talent!

    There's always a bad apples but you're a peach so, I say, FUCK 'EM!

    And you know what??? Poems are supposed to elict emotion in people! Some things in life ARE disturbing! What? Are we supposed to ignore that???

    Fuck that! I want to live with my eyes and my heart open!

    Good luck with whatever you choose to do, my friend! Those of us who enjoy your work will miss you!

    You guys are right. Why would I stop when that's probably exactly what they want? Bwah ha ha ha!!

    I'll keep posting, guys. You make me feel so welcome here, I'd be crazy not to.

    I love you guys!! I feel honored to be around such talent, but most of all, such warmth. :)

    I won't stop, justam. :) And thanks for all the nice things you say about my writings. :) I know I don't reply all the time, but I read all the comments, and I really really smile so big when you, and others, like my writings.

    OK, i'm new to this, what's a PM? Oddly enough I was thinking recently how if I published my poetry in magazines, or rather when I publish my poetry in magazines, i will receive different types of responses. Hopefully, 99% wonderful glorious you're so great type stuff, but I'm not that unrealistic. I may be a daydreamer but not stupid.

    Then I thought I post my poetry on WHO's board? I'm a fan of WHAT BAND? I'm sure 99% of messages Pearl Jam receives are wonderful glorious you're so great type stuff, but then you have the psycho losers. Throughout life there are psycho losers. I think the previous responses to contact the moderators is the best plan. Give them the Amnesty International approach "We're watching you . . . ."

    PM... if you go to the "user cp" button on top of your screen, that will lead you to your PMs, or, rather, Private Messages. :)

    But yeah, there will always be the mean people, the critical people, and the psychotic people. But there will ALWAYS be the nice people, too! :)

    A PM is a Private Message. Most people use them for proper reasons. For example, I sent you one to say I liked your poems. :) And PMs do serve a great purpose for sane rational members. (If you click "user cp" at the top of your screen, Bibliobella, you'll be taken into your control panel where you'll see there's a message of praise there for ya. ;))
    However, there's a handful of people who abuse the service. But then, there always are. They're crazy!

    Good to see you posting again, Jessie. And you know there are always other, safe forums you can post on too. ;)

    Tonight I'm not. Nor was I yesterday. I've been sick, and people have been irritating me... totally screwing with the balance of my mind I need to write art. I might re-hash some of my old poetry, it'll all new to you guys. Keep in mind that these are re-hashes and are from a raging and depressed adolescence.

    EDIT: Wow... it seems I have a lot of lost poetry. That sucks.

Next time you get one, just copy and paste it on the board ...     aWwWwWwWw!!! Gawrsh I love it when this happens. My secret admirers come out from behind their little rocks in times of great confusion. :D Hee heee.. no but seriously... thanks for telling me that. It makes me feel really good, and that's just another reason for me to keep plugging away at things!

    The reason being:

    you never know who might be affected by your words, good... or bad... but any type of emotional/personal response is... GOOD! I credit CBBoot with this advice, that I recieved in a PM!! I loved that concept. :)

    They have various types of forums to post your work. I like the critique one.
    WHen you go there, click the message that says "view the forum in frames"...after you do, you'll se a list of all the forum types she offers.
    The site is legit..I began using it back in the mid '90's.
