all beans on the table. i vote for a socialist approach. some of us have family/other obligations. if there are multiple shows...how about some get tickets for night 1, and others night 2. i know this is rediculous, but just an idea. how much difference could there be from night 1 to 2. spread the love for us 10 clubbers. i know if i wake my wife up right now and tell her the rumors she'll be insanely excited(for me to get tickets) since she didn't get to go with me on this east coast deal(2 small children).

    whose with me?!!!

There was so little difference between the two nights on the west coast set it was a tiny bit frustrating, but I suppose that most people aren't giong to go to too many of the shows? Oh who am I kidding... I'll be at every one I can. :)

I can only make the Aug 1st show, so there's already less competition for the Aug 2nd show!

I really hope it's true about the 8/2 show! My husband's birthday is the first and he already told me he doesn't want to go to the show. :(

not according to the know-it-all at the top of this page.

never claimed to be a know-it-all you asshole -- all publications have posted false information before. fuck, the new york times does it all the time -- they let a reporter for years make up stories that won all sorts of awards before they fired him. i'm just saying that the phoenix isn't a tabloid rag paper -- they're credible for the most part.

I'm sorry, but as much as I love Ed and PJ...

Radiohead on Aug 1 is exactly where I want to be.

I am in hell. I have tickets that day, rather sick seats mind you, to see The Police in Saratoga just days before their final show ever.

But Ed at the opera house....jesus...

I really really REALLY hope he schedules a few other shows in the area, like another Boston show or a Providence/Hartford show.

    Ugh.

(Please let the rumors of a show on the 2nd be true)

They will be back on tour again in like 3 or 4 years to cash back in.

I second that. There will be no more Police after this. You could tell they were already fighting by the time they got to Fenway last summer. They did what they set out to do and it was fucking GREAT! Sting will put out a couple of albums for sure. But no more Police.

I have gone to see them twice. It's not about replacing Shannon. Really it's not, it's more of a tribute to him but its fucking Blind Melon rocking out behind this guy Travis who sings like crazy. I would say hit up the free show and check it out. You will not be disappointed. I got to talk with Chris and Rodgers at the end of the 1st show I went to and they were just so totally cool and sweet. Chatted to them for a while.

Honestly When I went to the 10/7 show in Providence. It was the most emotional thing I have ever been apart of. Go to their myspace page if you wish. But for free how could you go wrong. I'm actually bringing the family with me!
