  • We also had a Homme no-show last night. Show was sold out, so they moved it from the basement of St. Andrew's Hall into the main concert room. It's a lovely venue, I think I have seen most of my shows there now since I moved here. The opener was odd, reminded me a lot of the 90's in Germany. Show started rather late, past 1ß pm, and we were wondering because the usual curfew is 11. Then they came out and Jesse said he was sick as fuck, and the doctor told him he would die if he performs, but then they pumped him full of meds and he was there. No idea if all of this was true  But we got a comparably short show. Nevertheless, it was a ton of of fun and the whole band really seemed to enjoy the Detroit crowd a lot. I have bum muscle pains today from all the dancing. There was underwear thrown on stage and we got an awesome guitar battle before the show ended. I would go again

saw them last night in philly. I know half the audience didn't really are for Jesika Von Rabbit but i kinda dug her. EoDM came on about 10:15 and played for about 1 and half hours. He said he was sick from the night before. Sounded fine though. Jesika joined them onstage for Cherry Cola. Almost got Bag O'Miracles (which they haven't played in like 6 years but Jesse forgot the words

It was ok, not their best, IMO. Some of the songs were on his solo album. Duran Duran cover was pretty interesting.

  • I am shocked, heartbroken and angry and sad. I cannot even imagine what these people there have to go through right now. I hope everyone who is still alive gets out there safe. Stay strong, Paris!

  • What the hell is wrong with people? I simply do not understand WHY anyone would ever get a thrill out of killing other people. I hope all the attackers are hung by the fucking scrotum high above a pit of crocodiles.

Heartbreaking for the band. Of course the real concern is for the wounded and the families of the dead, and those apparnetly still trapped in there. I can'tneven imagine. It's just horrific. And my thoughts are for all of France too. But definitely also thinking about how this must feel for the band. My mind turns to Roskilde, and how that tragedy affected PJ. Just imagine how this terrible event must feel for these band members. Fuck.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

On CNN, they just interviewed the bassist's brother. The band is OK.

I'm not sure what else to say. Pray for everyone.

  • Was drinking beer after a show (Ghost) when someone told me what was going on, at first I thought it was really bad joke. It felt to close this time around, an attack on my way of living, going to concert, football games. SO FUCK TERRORISM
