Jesse "Boots Electric" Hughes and Joshua "Babyduck" Homme, aka Eagles of Death Metal, have announced dates for a headlining run in support of upcoming release Heart On.
The band is currently finishing a run with Swedish garage-rockers The Hives, with stops coming up in Ventura, Calif., San Francisco and Los Angeles.
EODM's Heart On assault will be unleashed on the masses beginning October 30 at Neumo's in Seattle and will invade unsuspecting clubs, theatres and ballrooms across North America before going back under wraps at the end of November.
Other targets include Wonder Ballroom in Portland, Ore. (December 31), Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver (November 2), Bluebird Theater in Denver (November 6), The Bottom Lounge in Chicago (November 10), Paradise Rock Club in Boston (November 15), 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (November 18), and One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans (November 24).
Tickets for some shows are available at Ticketmaster.com.
Heart On, due to spring up October 16, features a dozen new "rumpshaking, rock hard tunes" recorded in Burbank, Calif., Los Angeles, Boise, Idaho, Fargo, N.D., and Amsterdam and features guest appearances by Kat Von D, Brian "B.O.C." O'connor, Darlin' Dave Catching, Alain Johannes, Troy Van Leeuwen, Brody "Queen Bee" Dalle and Kim "Koko Bubbles" Martinelli.

I love Peace, Love, and Death Metal but didn't think much of Death By Sexy. I wish they'd come to Winnipeg because they would be a very fun show, but it doesn't look like it will ever happen.

Still can't believe they're playing The Shelter. It's about as big as a basement. Gonna be unreal seeing Mr. Homme in such a setting!

Is Mr. Homme actually touring with them? When I saw them in 2009 Joey Castillo was drumming. Still a fun show either way.

No Pittsburgh date this time so I'll probably miss them. Boots Electric is a true rock star, it doesn't matter who's drumming you will be entertained. Enjoy the show.

I don't care for the song at all.

Seeing them at the Shelter would be unbelievable! Hopefully there'll be some tix available later.

In a good or a bad way? Well anyway, we're gonna see them tomorrow!! Wish me luck that Le Homme is there too :relaxed:

No offense but highly unlikely. Seen them three times. '05, '06 and '08 and no Josh. Although you might get on stage. Last time i saw them they closed withg Speaking in Tongues and invited all the women onstage :smile:

  • Yeah, I might get on stage. The place is so tiny, there's almost no chance not to be on stage

We saw Qotsa two years ago today, maybe Josh wants to celebrate the anniversary  Anyway, should be an awesome show!
